Possible this information will help smone I tested myself how mod working - Its working as suppose to for dialogues (Izran, Sorin and Gunmar (and other members of Dawnguard) talking and giving quest as usual when on 1 vampirism stage, on 2+ sending to Falion), only 1 issue - need to manualy via console skip last stage of "New order" quest (where Izran cheking Sorin and Gunmar for vampirism), after check he send to Falina as in vanilla, if manualy skiped to stage 200 (end of quest and starting next one) all good, in dialogues its working.
setstage DLC1HunterBaseIntro 200, in console to skip last stage of quest, after that check i guess all will good for the end of game if you able to be on 1 stage when talking to Dawnguard
I understand right - optional file "Vampire detection fix only" and main file do same thing for detection Dawnguard you as vampire (1 stage cannt be detected), but main file also changing Serana dialogue about "do you want to become vampire lord", and optional file doesnt have this Serana dialogue change, its only different between them, or anything else too?
I simple start new game some days ago, and install this mod (optional file), it will a long time when i become vampire (like 100+ hours of playing bcs hardcore mods i guess) and even more when i join Dawnguard, so will be good when i finally go to this stage that this mod wouldnt fucked something up, i guess i also can install/remove it midgame right before dialogue with Dawnguard members without issues?
Bcs its look very simple and light to add/remove it midgame without troubles.
So basically as long as your vampirism stage 1, they are completely ignorant about your status? You can play as a friendly neighborhood vampire with this.
I have a mod that allows me to brew potions that can turn me into a vampire or werewolf and cure me as well. It won't conflict with this mod?
So...I really loved the idea of this; considering there are several Vampires which have remained "hidden" throughout Skyrim I downloaded and installed the "detection fix only" version; and have been running around as a Vampire for a few days now
Sadly; and much to my horror, once I went to Dawnguard to progress that quest, everyone began attacking immediately! :(
I'm using Better Vampires and DVA; and gave myself Vampirism via Better Vampires. And yep; I was only at Stage 1. Any ideas?
Ok; good news for me is I tried again and it appears to be working this time Only difference I can say from my first attempt is that I went to Dawnguard and it was daytime....*shrug*
The mod changes dialog conditions. Original, the Dawnguard will detect your vampirism at any level and start the curing quest. I modified the dialog conditions to only trigger on level2+ vampirism.
So drink a potion of blood before going inside castle dawnguard.
Thanks for this, going to try it out. For everyone else, careful the links for " mods working with " are all for SSE, I didn't catch onto it until I had already started to install them.
Okay first when I used the dawnguard detection fix it did not give me the dialogue option when I have the book. With out the fix I got the dialogue, but now only florentuis knows i am a vampire when i talk to him and only him.?
Probably something I forgot. I do not really play oldrim anymore. I will look into it soon, I just need to finish up another thing I work on. Stay tuned! :-)
oooh!! looks promising. i messed up and took harkon's gift when offered. i'd mistakenly read that i could accept the lord gift and then get cured and still do dawng side. sadly that apparently works for any method of becoming vamp ACCEPT taking harkons gift. dammit! so if u can make it to where i could switch back to play dawng side, and become vamp lord later, that'd be awesome!!
Would also like to see just the detection fix, without the change to the Serana request stuff. I don't necessary want to run around as a vampire much, but it IS ridiculous that an NPC hid it from them for ages, but you get detected within 1 minute.
> that is why I put in a requirement to have the book in your inventory for the dialog.
Ah! I didn't understand that part. Thanks for uploading the detection-fix-only version anyway. I have so many fine-tuned Serana mods that adding another would have been a conflict resolution hassle anyway, even if it was just trying to add a feature I wasn't going to use.

It kinda sucks that you can't side with the Dawnguard as a vampire. Now that this mod has made it possible, I can do the vampire I have wanting to do.

The mod will make it so you can hide your vampirism at first stage. The changes are only on the dialogs. There are no actual changes to quests.
I wanted to stay compatible with all major Vampire overhauls.
