    Bald head problem?
    =================================
    Try this ini fix:
    In Documents-My Games-Skyrim
    skyrim.ini file
    [Archive]
    bInvalidateOlderFiles=0
    -> change 0 to 1

    If you don't have that line at all in your ini you can copy paste the line bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

    If the ini fix is not enough to make it work you can also try:
    Racecompatibility mod by TMPhoenix http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24168/?

    If you see my hair mods on Steam then they are stolen!
    Please help to report it!

    The mod is updated for Skyrim Special Edition

    Wig for helmets updated
    =================================
    Optional file:ApachiiHelmetWigs_v_1_1
    2017-04 -01
    =================================
    What's new in this version v.1.1.
    =================================
    - Added proper inventory and ground model for the wigs.
    - Made it so that you automatically get the right wig for your race.
    - If you craft it you only see one version of every wig option (that fits your race) instead of seeing all wigs for all races.
    - Less clutter in crafting menu

    Thank you all for your nice comments, endorsements and lovely screenshots.

    If I ever get any DP from my mods I will donate to Wildlife Conservation Society.
    I wish you will do the same if you use any assets from my mods.

    hello Apachii.
    I recently switched from nmm to mo2, so very much a mo2 newbie / noob , I spent all day trying to fix my skyrim issues with a complete fresh install and now re downloading and install my must have mods this being one of them, ...
    The small minor problem I'm having is with mo2 and this mod, it downloaded just fine, but I double click to install it comes up with a bos with the mod and file tree
    there were short mo2 messages about , but the shaded grey text I couldnt read them all properly , something about the way the mod was done ..
    So now If I try again to install, and the box comes up like this -
    Spoiler:
    Show
    .. if I click ok , it give me a small message about it probably wont work or some such things, but gives me the option to ignore the message ?
    So I chose ignore and then I get in the mod listing there's a small red box, when hovered over, says no game availible >_< =/

      You must set Data directory, open the Data folder, inside there are the files you need for the mod to work.
      Meshes folder
      Textures folder
      esm

      The other files outside the data folder is just screenshots and a read_me text file.

    Do you plan on adding more to this eventually? Because I would love if you could add more curly hair options. I know a lot of Sims 4 curly hair mods that you could use. :O I know that I can just import them myself, but I already tried and I'm just not smart enough. :(

      Please send me an PM with links to the curly hairs, it is very hard to find.
      I can take a look and see what I can do.
      Then there is also the question will I get permission from the authors to convert it?

    I tried to download this mod but I believe I'm having the "bald head" problem... I can scroll through the apachii hair mods but none of them show up. I'm in the full body view, I've made the suggested change to the .ini file, and I've downloaded the Racecompatibility mod.
    I'm using Mod Organizer, and I'm relatively new to it so it's not unthinkable that I did something wrong. Any advice would be much appreciated, there's some really gorgeous hair!

      You might try what appachii told in the post below
      You must set Data directory, open the Data folder, inside there are the files you need for the mod to work.
      Meshes folder
      Textures folder
      esm

      I didnt know anything about setting directories in mo2, but if when installing this and the box come up on screen with the mod showing data at the top you need to right click the word data I think it was and choose set directory then ok, if mo2 then says " looks good" then install, other than that I dont know..
      I had the same issue with ks hair, the character in looks menu was bald , and I could cycle thru all the names and they weren't showing on the head and she was ballld !! xD

    Love this. Too many female hairstyles but too little male hairstyles. I respect your opinion. Credits to you.

      There are 76 male hairs for humans and lots of them remodeled for Elves and some for khajiits I think that it is a lot of male hairs.

    I have tried everything I can think of to get this mod to work. My character still shows up as bald. I have Apachiiskyhair, RaceMenu, RaceMenu Precache Killer, and Alternate Start (mostly so I can jump straight to character customization). I have all the DLCs. This is standard edition Skyrim. I've also tried Apachii by itself, no mods. Fresh install of Skyrim and a fresh install of the hair mod itself, and I cannot get it to work, just bald ladies. I've edited the skyrim.ini file as well as try the Racecompatability mod and I'm at a loss. I'm not sure if it's this mod, I seem to have a similar problem with The Eyes of Beauty. Instead of seeing the new customization options for the eyes they all appear as brown eyes, similar to how all the options for the hair are bald. I don't know what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

      Maybe this will make it work for you, Install the main file and the female file manually to make sure you get all the files in the right place.
      How to install manually read the instructions in my sticky note.
      You can activate the both esm files in skyrim launcher.
      The esm files should be loaded at the top after the skyrims esm dlc files.

    It reads:
    ApachiiSkyHairMale_v_1_2
    Standalone 55 Male hairs - Not included in ApachiiSkyHair v_1_5_Full

    Q: Is it included in 1.6 Full?

      Sorry I just realized that I had forgot to update the description on the download page, it should be
      Standalone 55 Male hairs - Not included in ApachiiSkyHair v_1_6_Full

      This 3 mods does not have the same hairs so if you want all hairs available you need all 3 of them.
      1 -Main File- ApachiiSkyHair_v_1_6_Full
      2 - Optional File - ApachiiSkyHairFemale_v_1_5
      3 - Optional File - ApachiiSkyHairMale_v_1_2
