Introducing Fenrir the Frost Wolf 2020

Real World Inspiration:
"In Norse mythology, Fenrir (Old Norse: "fen-dweller"), Fenrisúlfr (Old Norse: "Fenris wolf"), Hróðvitnir (Old Norse: "fame-wolf"), or Vánagandr (Old Norse: "the monster of the river Ván") is a monstrous wolf. Fenrir is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda and Heimskringla, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. In both the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda, Fenrir is the father of the wolves Sköll and Hati Hróðvitnisson, is a son of Loki, and is foretold to kill the god Odin during the events of Ragnarök, but will in turn be killed by Odin's son Víðarr."

About:

This mod adds a unique companion by the name Fenrir with many unique combat abilities based around the "Frost Element".
-Fenrir can summon a blizzard to cloak himself.
-Fenrir can summon spectral wolf companions that when attacked explode in an icy blast.
-Fenrir can conjure an ice crystal that can pierce enemies with icicles.
-Fenrir is capable of increased speeds zipping around the battlefield.
-Fenrir can find items when asked (such as as food, potions, melee weapons, ranged weapons, etc)
Location:
Fenrir can be found in a cave up to the north near Dawnstar. The map marker should appear on your map upon loading. Once you acquire Fenrir, you can take an item from him which once consumes bonds you to him permanently. If you dismiss him or lose him, you can summon him with this new spell.

What's New:

1- Textures improved ("Dark Ice" coat colour), eyes effect changed and improved so that they now glow.
2- Fenrir's quest has been improved making it way more challenging, so even at high levels in vanilla it will still be a challenge.
3- Fenrir has some surprises in his inventory, and some backups of his old things in case of lost item.
4- Old bug fixes and esp tweaks, but I kept close original authors ideas so original scripts are untouched.
5- Fenrir's immersive abilities, he is no longer just a mindless animal, but more unique with specific new abilities for finding things.
6- Additional frost theme attacks
7- More balanced, strong attack damaged nerfed and weaker attacks improved.
!Previous versions bugs in this mod have been all fixed and carefully tested not only on my personal computer but friends also!

If you enjoy this mod and appreciate it, I ask if you could please endorse and vote. Thank you and don't forget to do the same thing with the original mod.

Bugs & Fixes:

Fenrir dismissed incorrectly- most likely means that it may be an original script error, even if you dismiss him he may still follow (easy to fix)
1- Fenrir doesnt take up animal companion count slot so simply make him wait, simple as this no problems and you can still summon him to you with his spell.
2- Save and reload game
Fenrir won't talk- most likely means youd idn't correctly dismiss a previous animal slot follower and the game still thinks you have one
1-  use the console with ~ then type "show playeranimalcount" and enter if it is not 0 then type "set playeranimalcount to 0" and enter.
Vanilla Issue dialogue not appearing-
1- Save and reload in cas eof lines not appearing.
Multiple ESPs
Not actually a bug. When I started work on the mod I worked on 2 different assets, but merging them broke the mod. So curently until a solution is found, it needs both ESPs. But if you really don't have space, you can disable "Fenrir Skills", but I dont recomend it and it will remove much.

Installation & Uninstallation:

Mod manager "download with manager" or download manually and extract contents intno you data folder and enable esps.
To update from old versions:
1- Dismiss fenrir
2- Save, close game, unistall mod (from Mod Managers or remove all added files manually)
3- Install the new version (use loot for sorting load order ,my personal choice)
4- Load the save you made after you dismissed Fenrir
5- WAIT A FEW SECONDS, than save and reload the new save and you're good to go.

As with most mods not recommenced uninstalling during playthrough unless reverting to a save before using Fenrir unless you are updating him using the steps above.

Compatibility:

-It should be compatible with everything, except with "Really Useful Dogs" since I use assets from that mod there may be conflicts.
-Any follower overhaul mod or any mod that tweaks followers in general so if you have problems with that, I'm the wrong person to request assistance with it.

Special Thanks & Credits:

-ZeroEternalz and Arcane for old mod permission and assets usage
-Bearsark93 ,a very kind heated girl who gladly helped me with the reworked textures and meshes to allow functioning glowmap textures, helped me troubleshoot   problems and rewrote this page.

-Also again Arcane for using parts of his description but modified with the new additions.

Notes

I know I asked to take care of an important mod, I don't think of my self as a big modder, but just some simple user who learned few basic things, but know this, I have used the original Fenrir for a long time and the improvements in this version I carefully tested to avoid any future problems.
I'm not a native English speaker (Bersark93 has helped me rewrite this page) so please be patient with me if there are issues/bugs and I will to fix them ASAP.
