Summary of Features - Please Read  Before Downloading=

This is a comprehensive overhaul of Vlindrel Hall in Markarth with redefined design and expanded functionality.

Alchemy Lab and Children's Bed Chamber are no longer located in the same area, this means you can purchase both at the same time.

Many new additions such as the Bath Hall, Bard, Smithy Workshop, Pantry, Bakery Workshop, and so on can be purchased by accessing the convenient "House Options" board located near the entrance.

"House Options" board can be also used for purchasing any other furnishings that are offered in vanilla game. A fast and reliable alternative to tediously going through a conversation with the Jarl's Steward.

It implements performance improvements from Skyrim Project Optimization, making this mod remotely compatible with it.

Navmesh is altered in Vlindrel Hall and so are many preexisting items. For technical reasons heavily due to how the game engine functions, you are highly recommended to install this in a relatively newer save game in which your PC has not visited Vlindrel Hall.

=Design Concept=

My name is Sette, many people in SKYRIM MODS community know my previous projects such as Immersive World Encounters and Palaces & Castles Enhanced. In 2015, I created my first SKYRIM mod called Royal Blue Palace, and in this process I have began to develop a passion for designing interior spaces which ultimately drove me to dive into the academia of interior design.
5 years later, I am now putting what I've learned so far into practice; a challenge to turn the most barren and uninteresting player home in SKYRIM (in my opinion) into a truly desirable, functional estate suited for the great Thane of the Reach!

The interior, inspired by modern industrial design, is filled with sculptural ethos of Dwemer architecture seamlessly combined with the comfort and warmness of traditional Nordic decor. The excess items on the floor (such as 50 cabbages and baskets, they were literally everywhere!) were stripped away to create more sophisticated vibe suited for this historic genre.

The living quarters have been drastically expanded with the addition of the grand bath hall, a much more spacious master bed chamber and the adjacent bed chamber for Dovahkiin's children.

=House Options Board=

Look to your left when you enter the house and you should find a wooden board that you can interact with. This House Options board offers a variety of purchase option for your home; granted you have the enough money to buy these options, you can instantly acquire these options!

"House Purchase" option will include basic furnishings for your home. You can acquire these options by talking to the Jarl's Steward, just like in vanilla SKYRIM, or you can make use of this option to purchase them without having to visit Understone Keep.

"Special Purchase" option will include a variety of furnishings that are offered by this mod. These options are only available by using the House Options board, not by speaking with the Jarl's Steward. A detailed explanation of what each option entails can be found in the following section.

=Special Purchase Options=

1. Arrange-able Dining Table

By default, the dining table is populated with both cooked and uncooked food, silverware, and other miscellaneous items. Many users find this too "clutterly", and this option is the solution.

This option will disable all of the miscellaneous items on the dining table and replace the silverware with unmovable objects.

Moreover, you will have the ability to serve your own meal;
by simply clicking on the dining table, you will be able to place up to 7 food items on these empty silver plates, just as shown in 2 of my screenshots in the image section!

2. Bard

You can recruit a Bard for your home! Once the order is placed, a bard named Melana of Sentinel will start performing in the dining area. She will be at your service everyday until 7pm, and spends the rest of evenings at Silverblood Inn.

3. Mannequins/Hearthfire Trophies

You can choose the mannequins or trophy stands from Hearthfires DLC to be placed in the living room. If you change your mind, you will still have the option to switch over to the other option with no additional cost; however, it is not recommended to switch to the mannequins after you've crafted the trophies.

4. Bath Hall

Bath Hall will be active and filled with hot water after you've purchased it. Inside the bath hall, you will find an interactive basket which you can use to automatically un-equip all of your items and store them inside another basket. The bath water should be Frostfall-friendly.

5. Bakery Goods

You will obtain an oven from Hearthfire DLC as well as a bakery workbench in which you can store your ingredients in. You can also use its mortar & pestle as a substitute for a grain mill, which can be quite useful if use such mods that expand bakery recipes (such as CACO).

6. Potion Shelf

This option adds an interactive shelf to the Alchemy Lab, in which you can store potions or poisons and put them on display. It works just like the bookshelves from vanilla SKYRIM but for potions.

Beware, though: Do not to try to store potions or poisons that you've made at an Alchemy Workbench. Use this to display only generic types of potions and poisons that you can buy from the vendors or collect from your loot. If you use the Potion Shelf to store your own custom-made potions or poisons, you may lose them permanently. This is due to the limitation of the script.

7. Alchemist's Rabbit

The in-game description from the house options menu should suffice for this one.
It just works!

8. Smithing Area

Adds an Armorer's Wodkbench, a Grindstone, and an Anvil as well as various storage chests in the same room as the Enchanting Lab.

9. Booze Shelf

This shelf in the dining are is good for displaying your favorite drinks. If you're like me, an enthusiast of mods that add more drinks, then this option might be for you.

As a side note: It's the same technique used for the Potion Shelf, and food and drinks in SKYRIM are all considered a type of potions in game mechanics, so you can technically store potions and poisons on the Booze Shelf and store food and drinks on the Potion Shelf.

10. Pantry

Adds a food storage area in the Housecarl's chamber and a food container in the kitchen area. If you are a cook, make sure to get this option.

11. More beds for your 6 children

You can purchase 4 more beds to be placed in the child's bed chamber. This option is for those with the Multiple Adoptions mod.

=Installation Guide=

This mod requires Hearthfire DLC and SKSE.

If you're installing this mod onto an existing save, you'll need to be aware that there maybe some very noticeable issues such as objects clipping into other objects. These types of problems are due to some persistent records in your save data and cannot be solved unless you're equipped with the knowledge on how to do a surgery on your save data with a cleaning tool.

You can use the following console command to fix some minor problems that you'll encounter, such as some miscellaneous objects trashed on the floor as if someone flipped a table, but it does not fix the problem with your save game which I noted earlier.

The console command for resetting the house interior is: resetinterior MarkarthVlindrelHall

If you're using Enhanced Lights and FX, Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Relighting Skyrim, Shadows, or any other lighting overhaul mods that affect Vlindrel Hall, you must remove the cell records from these mods in order for this mod to be compatible with them.

Skyrim Project Optimizations is fully compatible with this mod. I have incorporated its performance stabilization into my mod, which works even without Skyrim Project Optimizations installed in your load order.

All fixes from Unofficial Skyrim Patch has already been implemented.

I will NOT be making any compatibility patches for this mod and other conflicting mods.
