Or just don't take the book while people are staring at you. simple as breathing. hit TAB and then Pick up the book and take it somewhere with fewer prying eyes and THEN take it. like, why is this needed in any way? this is akin to someone making a weapon mod that adds the Steel sword. its already in the game and yet they just uploaded a mod that adds a steel sword. like, why?
or better yet take the book while people are staring at you. if guards give you trouble, kill them all and anyone who dares takes offence to your theft. or pacify the civilians, kill the rest then just walk out. who cares?.
No, it's like making a mod that makes the steel sword craftable without the steel smithing perk required. I could give you a ton of reasons why have this mod just to prove you wrong: convenience, RP, collectionist playthough, not wanting to be a murder hobo over a book, not wanting to be attacked on sight by every npc in a certain hold over a book. Just as you play skyrim just to take out your murder fantasies some people like playing it in a way that they don't even need to steal.
Heck, I'd understand if you didn't, modders tend to create stuff around the mods they already use. Seeing how the first released perk version is on Ordinator and not, say, Vokrii, just shows that you're currently using Ordinator and made it for yourself but decided to share it anyway.
Lol I also use Ordinator, but I just thought to suggest adding the perk to the vanilla tree. Enai's mods are essential to any playthrough that I have now. I'm tempted to give his "Minimalistic" mods a try but I think I'm fine with Ordinator and Imperious rather than Vokrii and Morningstar.
