"According to the spooky legends meant to scare children around the campfire, Samaria was a young breton woman who worked at a remote outpost on the Rift, she was the servant of a captain named Taudius, and Taudius had a special fondness for her. In fact, he fell madly in love with Samaria, telling her that he would leave his wife for his young servant. But Samaria was not on board with this plan, which led to her apparent murder at the hands of the brutal captain.
One of Samaria’s first duties was to look after ten gold coins for Taudius while he was traveling to Whiterun. The captain secretly decided to hide one of them before handing the small sum over to the girl, and when he returned, he asked for the ten coins back. She began counting them one by one, and when she saw that the last coin was gone, she began to cry, panicking. The captain then told Samaria that if she did not agree to sleep with him, he would frame her for stealing an officer’s money, which would lead to her torture or even execution.
In one version of the story, Samaria ended her life by throwing herself into the outpost’s well, believing she was in a hopeless situation. In the other version, Taudius threw her into the well after she refused to be with him.
Of course, the story doesn’t end there: the spirit of Samaria is said to have crawled out of the well and appeared to Taudius every night. Taudius was apparently driven mad by the vengeful ghost’s incessant screams in the night, and the outpost was eventually abandoned. To those who passed by, she was regularly heard counting the coins in the now-ruined outpost, letting out a piercing scream whenever she realized, as she allways did, that the tenth coin was still missing."

Technical information: From Ivarstead follow the dirt path north to the river, then cross the river before the falls. Another dirt path continues on the other side through the wooded foothills on the East side of the Throat of the World. Not far along the path, an iron gate lays in the dirt where there was once an Imperial toll booth. The unmarked area is known in the community as the "Ruined Toll and Wispmother's Well", and originally featured a Wispmother emerging from the well, now replaced by the tormented spirit of Samaria. (To fast travel, simply type "COC POIFALLFOREST25" into the console.) Here begins the story of Samaria, who died in the well on that outpost. By defeating her, you can obtain Smaria's Ring. By equipping it, you gain the power to summon Samaria once per day. Her attacks have a strong side effect of Silence, which drastically reduces your enemies' mana temporarily, making her useful against mages and magic-oriented creatures.

- 1 new creature: Samaria;
- 1 new ring: Samaria's Ring;
- 1 new spell: Summon Samaria;

The Mihail Monsters and Animals series aims to create and make available to the community the most complete set of creatures for TES 5: Skyrim, implemented in an immersive and unique way, with respect to the pillars of lore. Instead of pathetically just throwing models and textures in the game reusing 100% vanilla mechanics, the creatures made by Mihail have uniqueness and extreme zeal in their idealization and implementation, which will provide you with an experience that you have never had before in this area.
