My mod production for Legendary Edition has ended. All further mod production will be for Special Edition, and I urge everyone to move towards that platform, as it has numerous benefits, and the focus of the community has largely shifted over to SE.
Vilja has stood the test of time as one of the best follower mods ever created.
Emma truly created a masterpiece in immersion, design, and voice acting.
I wanted to create my own interpretation of how she might look.
This mod will, of course, require Vilja in Skyrim.
I have given her a custom face, standalone body using the UNPC bodyslide preset, as well as standalone textures.
I have no plans to do CBBE anything, as I do not use it, but swapping out the meshes manually is easy and I can explain the process if requested. As I have had to edit the plugin in order to assign her the custom assets, if there is ever an update to Vilja, I will need to hide the mod until I am able to release an update for the current version.
Future Plans:
I am planning to overhaul Vilja's entire family, and will update one at a time as I complete them.
Mid-game updates will always be safe, as only the loose meshes and textures will be affected.
Installation:
First, install Vilja, then download my replacer with your manager of choice, and let it overwrite everything that it asks to, including the plugin.
(I do not recommend manual installation of anything, ever)
Uninstallation:
My mod only contains loose files pertaining to Vilja's appearance. Simply uninstall with your manager of choice.
Compatibility:
Obviously, this mod will be incompatible with anything that edits Vilja's appearance.
