MOD DETAILS

This mod replaces the Skyrim logo on the main menu screen with Norwegian painter Peter Nicolai Arbo's Åsgårdsreien (1872), known in English as The Wild Hunt of Odin. All files in this mod (both Main and Optional downloads) contain only meshes and textures with no .esps, and may be installed and removed safely at any time. There are 3 versions available for download in the Main Files section, each displaying a different particle effect on the main menu and loading screens. The Optional Files section offers two additional downloads for those who do not wish to use this mod's artwork for the main menu screen. You do not need either of the Optional Files if you are using one of the choices available in the Main Files section.

Main Files:

Main Menu Screen Replacer - The Wild Hunt - Falling Snow - Replaces the fog on the main menu and loading screens with falling snow. Uses a vanilla snow mesh edited to increase snow density. My personal recommendation.

Main Menu Screen Replacer - The Wild Hunt - No Fog - Removes all fog completely from the main menu and loading screens. For purists who want to view the artwork in all its epic glory, with no effects overlay.

Main Menu Screen Replacer - The Wild Hunt - Vanilla Fog - Contains no fog replacer mesh, so vanilla fog will be displayed on your main menu and loading screens, unless you are already using another fog remover/replacer. This effect is very subtle over the artwork.

Optional Files:

Main Menu and Load Screen - Falling Snow Fog Replacer - Replaces the fog on the main menu and loading screens with 8hooves's version of falling snow. Does not contain artwork for the main menu screen.

Main Menu and Load Screen - Fog Remover - Removes all fog from the main menu and loading screens. Does not contain artwork for the main menu screen.
