   it can also simply be the amount of mods,, moonpath is besides more monster mod, probably the biggest in terms of sheer memory usage.. hence it will drive skyrim over the edge of too many mods..
   
   you'll probably have to disable temporarily some house/other quest mods.. its especially hard for mods that change the outdoor tamriel/skyrim landscape..

   Tried it with 1.6 and I don't have sea of ghosts or w.a.t.e.r.

   also usually its a heavy conflict like sea of ghotst or w.a.t.e.r.
