I love the beauty of nature, and I started dreaming while looking at these photos

Great shots exposing the relatively dry tundra region near Whiterun, Tish, although I use the "Great Forest of Whiterun Hold" in my game, which means it's covered in pine trees...but that's just because I love the closeness of forests, especially pines...the only down side is that you have to keep your ears alert for the sounds of the predators that still exist within that mod!

I saw from your profile that you live in a German pine forest, so you'll know why I love the forests so much.

      Thank you, Les.

Although the forest here is still dark, it are also spruces and firs, not only pines and in the last twenty years they are planting more sweet chestnuts, hornbeams, oaks, norway maples and service trees, which are more resilient against dryness and bark beetles.

They shall be 85 % of public forests in the future, it shall become mixed deciduous forests.

The adding of additional trees to the German forests is an excellent and forward-looking plan. When I lived in Scotland I and my family were given regular access to a "locked" woodland area that belonged to and was managed by our Forestry Commission organisation, it was a great place in which to take our children for picnics in the summer and to watch the herd of deer that lived there.

I miss it very much as members of the public were not allowed access, so it was like having our own forest to, walk in.

As Teenager (16-1  i was very often in the Forest, i liked its peaceful + relaxing atmosphere. Ideal for being alone and thinking about this and that and enjoying the fresh air in hot summer.

Today i live at least near the palace park of my city, with red squirrels, crows, owls and bats.

Great images! Lots of added life in your Skyrim, as in mine. Some or all from Mihail's mods, I think - that is what I mostly use.

I haven't used horses much in Skyrim, although I did in one recent set. But I have been doing a lot of riding in Assassins Creed: Origins lately, and have been enjoying it. So Alex and I might do more of that in Skyrim as well. Because as your set reminds me, that is a nice way to see more of Skyrim than using carriages and/or fast travel.

      Thank you very much, CMH.

Yes  most creatures and monsters are from MihailMods, they make exploring and travelling more interesting.

I use horses normally a lot perfect for screenarching on your travels. And fleeing.
