Well, the title of this set IS: The Things We Do - Together. So now, we announce our new mod:
Voyage to the Dreamborne Isles - Navmeshed for your Special Guest
A new addon mod to the amazing Voyage to the Dreamborne Isles
Our mod obviously requires the original one, but what it does is to allow a special guest to join the Player on this amazing adventure!
See the very detailed mod page for our mod. Haha... also known as cmh's latest novel!
I am glad, that you found a way to take her with you to this great adventure and that you made this great addition to this mod
wow, you even did a nav mesh expansion!
I know you like followers on Fallout 4, so maybe some day you will choose a special friend and return to the Dreamborne Isles as a nice getaway from Skyrim. SE mod is in final testing, will be available soon! I hope!
PS. It is funny, because I feel I know a lot more of how internals of Skyrim work than most people, and I certainly don't consider myself an "expert"... just an incredibly stubborn old $*%*% that beats my game into submission, time and time again!
I use Gimp for all my retexture work, and at least the version I have doesn't support BC7 - but again that is fine since I am on LE. BC7 might be available in Gimp if I updated it. Ha! You know me, if it is working... do not update it for no reason!
BUT for normal image viewing I use Irfanview, and was so happy when it added the ability to display BC7 textures a few years ago. Not because I need to see them, but because in Irfanview when you hit the "I" key for information, it now shows BC7 as the compression, in addtion to None, DXT1, DXT3, DXT5 - that it has always done. So when I backport, I can quickly see what compression is used. And then I have a batch process that can convert textures from one type to another, adding or removing MipMaps as needed. It uses "texconv.exe" to do the actual conversions.
Have a great rest of the week, my friend. I am looking forward to trying out those Fallout 4 mods you recommended to me several weeks ago. I have been avoiding Nuka World for the last several weeks, and want to get back to that next week, once I get our new mod published on SE.
