I hope you'll enjoy your "break" and have a lot of fun with you're new PC.
Whatever next game will be You plunged into...whatever takes You over in the future... - I wish to You to enjoy and stay inspired too as regards of PC deals and life!!!
A new p.c. after ten years will be like buying a brand new world filled with the old lands and opportunities to explore new ones.
The only thing better than that is doing it in real life. Wishing you the best in both. Greetings from the Lowlands.
I am getting more and more excited by the day. I am looking forward to seeing some new game titles and enjoying some 60fps Skyrim
Great to see another beautiful set and character from you.
I like the attitude - just go with the flow might be the best way to go :D
Long time no see. I'm glad to see you're upgrading your PC. To be honest it's going to be a sad day for LE users everywhere. But with the new PC, a whole new world is ahead of you !!!! Looking forward to whatever you post or do!!!
hello,
'when I started modding Skyrim I didn't have grey in my beard', ooooooooooooooooh man the same with me ..........................................
one point to my rig: 96 gb of ram (i started with 128 gb but 32 gb where killed by heat).
i am a showoff i know ! (don't complain about me)
i hope you will continue with SkyrimSE.
I read your comments with Considerable interest and I wish you luck and great enjoyment of your new rig, and I do suspect that you will make the change to SE, as most people seem to have done.
My own PC is getting pretty ancient now, although it performs very well and I have remained with Windows 7 by choice as everything was set up perfectly for Skyrim LE, which is now running the way I want it and I really cannot put up with the nausea and frustrations of trying to recreate my characters in SE, although I may not have much choice soon as Win 7 is pretty well unsupported now.
Anyhow, best of luck with your new rig!
I am in the exact same boat. Every day I see the steam countdown "Steam will stop running on Windows 7 in X days" and it feels like a doom clock on all the hard work I did. I have the feeling there will be a work-around though
Have a good one my friend
Excellent set as always.
I actually took the time to read what you wrote. A new PC is always exciting. Even just a new graphics card is exciting. The wheels start spinning and you cannot help but wonder how much better you can make things look with your new rig! There are so many other games outside of modding that will benefit though too.
I thought I was gone forever but find myself kicking it old school and back modding LE again. I'm taking my time though. Totally relaxed and I will get there when I get there. Can I do better than before with no PC or part upgrades? I guess time will tell.
Anyways it was good to hear what's been going on with you and I wish you the best no matter what you decide.
It's been a while since we last connected. I was actually just thinking of you the other day when I ran through the dungeons I made and that you helped me with.
The new PC is a total overhaul, even a new case. It was pretty expensive but the amount of time I got out of this rig more than paid for itself. I am glad that you are doing well and experimenting with a new LE setup. Stay awesome Z!
Windows 11, all the bells and wihistles and I re installed Skyrim SE did a modest 300mods list and got back into playing.
Then a Windows 11 update corrupted my Windows 11 install and bricked my pc and luckily, very luckily it was under warranty,
and the guys saved my steam and important files and put all that on a drive, wiped my pc clean and reinstalled Windows 11 fresh
and the put all my files back on it, and after a weekend of messing around, I was able to get skyrim back to my new install.
If they could not have saved it I was going to forget about Skyrim SE and move on, again lol but I probably in a months time
would have done it all again LOL!!! I now have my entire Steam Skyrim se folder and mods on a back up ssd on my new pc
(that I got installed while the new Window 11 install happened) and another backup on a portable Toshiba HDD, but even
ressurecting from back ups causes issues like blacface bug that needs to be sorted ha ha!!.
I would only suggest to you to get two nvme m.2 ssd's (most new motherboards have to nvme slots these days) and install Steam and your
Steam library on D: drive and windows and crap that it needs to run on C: drive, so if a corruption to windows goes down, your games are safe
Oh and switch to Skyrim SE as it runs way faster and better as it is 64bit platformed.
Anyway nice set and a hope you have a nice time when you get your new PC!!
I am pretty certain my new system has a m.s ssd so I should be good to go. I am curious to see how much smoother everything runs.
