Exquisite work and the likeness is simply stunning!
I'm utterly in awe this time!
She has such a powerful presence and looks great in that armor and gown. Very beautiful and truly nordic set of picutures  and I just cannot decide which one I like the best..all are amazing!.

You truly make wonders! (That look in her eyes is just...)

As always, thank you so much for your kind words, dear Angie! Much appreciated, my friend!

Brunhilde is the mother of my dragonborn and a very dear character to me. I wasn't totally happy with her preset and passed a lot of time tweaking it trying to "find her". At the time the story passes, she is already deceased, so we see her only in flashbacks and when Aslög talks about her to others. She is a half-bosmer nord woman that is both a shieldmaiden and an alchemist, but I believe that the most important thing about her is that she was a lioness protecting her family. She had premonitory dreams and visions and although most of them cannot be unveiled before they happen
by the interpretative character of the sentences, she had foreseen many of the important events that will develop along the journey of her daughter.

      Hello, again my dear friend!

Just wanted to say that all of your characters have such an interesting background and stories that I really enjoy. They are truly unique and diverse personalities and their presets you made so meticulously and skillfully show this amazingly.
From the ones I've seen here I like Lys, Uthgerd and Brunhilde the best and of course your own dear Dragonborn - Aslög. I wouldn't mind playing with Brunhilde as my main character if I got a chance one day!

I have seen more than a few interesting and noteworthy character creations and npc replacers here on Nexus of late (Ilson's caught my eye), but I must say that yours certainly deserve all the praise because all of them have these small but unique traits that make them more human, lifelike and almost real - like a dear old friend you met after a long, long time  wondering across Skyrim. So if you ever decide to make more followers or some new replacers it would be great.. .
But I'll understand if you are not ready to part with some of them just yet...

Also, if I may ask, what version of Skyrim are you playing/using right now - SE or AE and which is more stable for heavy modding and such? (in case I win on a lottery these days or something and decide to buy a new PC) And what are your PC specs because these pictures you posted truly look first class and VERY lifelike? I just wait for her to come out from the screen and say - hi!

That would be all for today, sorry for a long one again...

I wish you all the best, my friend and keep them coming...(pictures and stories I mean )

I thank you once again for your supportive and very generous comment about my characters, dear Angie! Thank you so much! I'm very glad you like them and for me is very important that they look realistic and believable!

I don't intend to release any oc's I created for my story to public, but I am cooking the idea of releasing some presets soon, created only for sharing (as I delay a lot to make follower/replacers mods). I made some nice ones to test things in game while I am installing things on SE and I will not use them in any story or to play, so why not sharing those? I think people can benefit from these characters to use them as their dragonborns or as a base to create others, as well as the beautiful presets released by Paya0, Miggyluv66, Enroys, JonThackery and others. We have some great replacers as well, so I feel honored that you feel that way about mine! <3
I am working on a replacer for Aela atm but free time is being rare, so... I hope one day I can release it HAHAHA

Atm I have both LE and SE-AE. My LE is being a mess to play (hiccups are a s#*! even with good fps, I suspect that is because of some mod in specific that I still didn't realize which is), so I only use it to make simple images. My modding on SE is still a WIP, but here and there I play with SE-AE as the performance is being better and don't stress me that much. Until I have everything set, I will keep modded LE.

      Spoiler:
      Show
To be very honest with you, besides new content added on AE, I don't understand the differences between SE and AE in other aspects. I know that, when it was released, it broke the SKSE mods for people and everyone was in panic with AE, some downgraded to SE's last version to avoid conflicts of mods that have SKSE as requirement. But now everything seems to be updated and stable, I believe that AE is a good option if you want to try in future and keep your mods updated. I installed almost all the needed mods for my game and had zero problems with them (I am working on the textures rn but textures had no compatibility problems, no plugin to mess with things), everything is working fine and all mods have options for both downgraded version and AE.

My pc is an Intel Core I3-7100 processor, 8150M-C D3/BR motherboard and I use a GTX GeForce 1650 with 16 GB RAM. Is not much, but is honest work HAHA I have this pc since 2017 and just last year was able to buy the videocard and some extra RAM, but it still struggles with performance if I push it too hard. But I can have the game with 1920x1080 resolution, textures on high and those things without pc exploding and setting my house, myself, my husband and my cat on fire. In past I wasn't able to use ENB, everything was setting to medium/low, the fps totally inside my ass... Was a nice modest upgrade.

The pictures you see here are on my LE using Rudy ENB + Aurelia Weathers + ELFX for lighting. If was not for the annoying hiccups, with it I can play with between 20-30 fps in all areas, cities being heavy because of the amount of npcs but is not that terrible. For someone who one year+ ago was having 10 fps, this is totally heaven! xD
In SE-AE I am still without decide about ENB and weather (ENB's on LE are way prettier and no weather will get close to LE's Aurelia), but for lighting I am using EvLaS + Lux and is a good combo! The way SE use shadows is very good compared to LE (the fire light is also waaaay better), tho I still dislike it being strong in black and in colors. Too much colorful to my taste.

Have a wonderful week, my friend! All the best for you and yours as well!

      Hello,

Firstly, I wish to thank you on your quick and very detailed answer to my questions. Now some thing are much clearer for me, because I have read many different comments and opinions about SE-AE differences, likes and dislikes so....you know. And I'm glad that you don't need to have a beast of a rig to create and play a beautiful, well balanced game with some well chosen mods. It is a very comforting thought.... since everything I've seen on YouTube ( it has gone too far since the humble beginnings of TES - it is becoming almost scary what people are doing with their mods these days....). Also, I agree with you about some aspects of SE-AE. Especially the color scheme, it is too much for me as well from what I've seen. You can almost have an epileptic attack ... LE  has much calmer (almost washed out) color palette, easier on the eyes.

Secondly, I'm glad to hear that you are working on some new presets and replacers even if the aren't some of your beloved characters. I'm sure they will be amazing  whenever they see the light of day. I like Aela as a character so it will be exiting to see your vision of her. We will wait patiently for her to arrive on the scene...

Have a great day ahead (and the rest of the week) and all the best to you and yours as well, my friend!
(especially to the cat! - I have one, too by the way.)

You're welcome, is a pleasure to help!

Yep, some people still hate AE for what it caused in the beginning, forcing the update (for all I know people had to turn off the auto updates on Steam and do a lot of stuff to prevent AE to force in their SE games) and breaking the mods. But now, it seems stable and good. I am actually with 175 mods and the performance is good, a bit higher fps than my LE (around 30-40 in most areas), so is a win-win.

      Spoiler:

Youtube users always make things looks more complicated and heavy than they are, honestly. Knowing which mods you can install and which you can't is a work of tests. For example, many of those people have very heavy grass and trees mods, and it will kill the performance of a pc like mine. But some of those mods have light versions or you can tweak the configurations and use them. I use Folkvangr grass that can be very heavy, but tweaking the density it is totally usable. Eats some frames, but don't compromise the performance. But is always a test, because every pc is different. This is the main reason I don't recommend collections or other people's complete modlists shared on Youtube to be installed all together. First because of incompatibility of some mods that often people recommend and other because every Skyrim is unique depending on the mods you choose for the visuals. Those recommendations are good and easy for a beginning, but it will be tweaked for the taste of other people. For example, I don't like my Skyrim looking super colorful, bright and tropical summer island. You see it a lot on Youtube videos.
For example, these days I was watching someone recommending Bjorn ENB on Reddit, with a video of the character walking at night in a snowy area with snow storm weather. It looked awesome, but seeing how the ENB looked in other areas and in different weathers, it was totally not of my taste. For things like this you need to install, test in different areas and test in different weathers to know if you like it or not and if your pc can handle ir or not. This is why I delay a lot to mod my SE because I test mod per mod... Boring work, but also fun.

Thank you about the presets and replacers! Yesterday I started one on SE, but I suddenly remembered that I needed to be up early to cover the vacations of a colleague at office and wasn't able to set much progress. I am counting the hours now to return to game and finish it Maybe a Nord male a and female to start...

Cats are the best thing in the world! What is the name of yours? Mine is Cicero (because of Dark Brotherhood character, he is an orange one kind of moody HAHAHA)
Thank you again and an excellent day!

I guess, that modding is all about constant tests and errors and the strengths and limitations of your PC. And having the nerves of steel and a lot of free time on your hands for all that endless testing and failing...

But yes, I agree with you that many players these days tend to overburden their games with heavy mods and lot of them, just to show the audience on YouTube that their rigs can handle it with ease, and how cool all of it looks. Yes, it is all well and nice, but sometimes it can be a little tiresome...Yes, I admit Skyrim is an old game, but it seems that no one is playing it for fun anymore, just for showcase of the newest, fleshiest and most jaw-dropping mods.

That is why I like what you do here - you tell stories and you care for your characters and not just  for the main ones but also for those in the background. Yes we all know those who live in Skyrim, but there are still new heroes to meet and new adventures to be had... and if  everything around looks amazing that is indeed a big + but it is not a necessity. It is something that many people tend to forget, without heart and soul even the prettiest things in the world are just an empty shell -no matter how beautiful.

Also, I have one more question for you about SE/AE  since character creation has always been fun and very important for me in games I played. I have heard from some people and read here on Nexus that in SE/AE RaceMenu and some add-on mods, doesn't work properly (sliders not showing in the menu or having CTD with this mod active and such) . I would like to hear your experiences with it and if you or someone you know had such problems and how did you manage to solve them. It would be much appreciated for the future because I REALLY LOVE my sliders (especially the additional ones)
And yes, cats are truly the best thing in the world!(they secretly rule it, you know) - mine, 12-years old, toothless, black and white cat is called - Mitzi - but that is just one of her many names, because none of them seems to suit her just right... she only comes when I whistle, like a dog.. so, what can I say?

Yeah, testing can be tiring, but it's also a fun part of modding. It takes time and patience, but you find out what truly works for your game and style and what doesn't.

Thank you kindly! Indeed! Many people use Skyrim to mod the "next gen" stuff and transform it in something very different from the original idea. I know many people that don't even play the game anymore and use it only for modding (sometimes modding it to look like modern word), and just some time after are overwhelmed because mods keep coming and they have that need to use and change styles, and making pictures... It end up souless and they forget how great this game, story and little details are, because the mods are using them and not they are using the mods. Like, the game becomes "unplayable" just because they see an issue that there is no fix or a character that is not "pretty enough". I confess that for me is sad when I see some other people's games because I don't see Skyrim, I see anything else, but not Skyrim. But... If they are having fun with it somehow and are not doing anything criminal, let them be.

About SE/AE character creation, I have installed EFM and ECE extra sliders for Racemenu and everything works flawlessly. I have many mods for hair, brows, eyes and beards and no problem at all with them. I believe that if you install them correctly (and their requirements) and if the mods are not incompatible between themselves, they should work without problems. Till now messing around in SE-AE, even in outside areas, I didn't had a single CTD and all the sliders of Racemenu (and its extras) are working perfectly

The only thing that sometimes cause problems for me is .bsa files. In the mod for BS: Bruma and ECE sliders, for example, everything worked as it should only after turning the .bsa into loose files. Is just an annoyance, since is super easy to do it using BAE tool, but I want to point it out because maybe if you have this problem you will not lose time breaking the head trying to solve, knowing that probably is because of the damn .bsa. I am not fan of .bsa files and many times it gave me problems, I don't know why some modders still do it just for the sake of "organization and aesthetics" when the function of the mod is compromised by it.

Oh, Mitzi is an adorable old lady, so! What a cutie! Those little ones sure rule the world, they don't live in our houses, we live in their!

Thank you for your quick and helpful reply, dear Larissa!

I have really grown fond of  RaceMenu, EFM and ECE sliders playing LE  so I wouldn't like to loose those on SE/AE . Especially because I like using Proteus too, and RaceMenu is one of the key requirements for installing that mod.

So far I have only read about occasional problems of others with these mods on SE/AE and hopefully I will not have the same, one day.
I enjoy playing LE even if it is annoyingly slow and stutters from time to time, and the graphics are really crappy on my old potato PC but sometimes I envy those who play SE/AE because their game is more stable and they have more choices and possibilities considering that all new mods (and some older ones!) are now SE/AE exclusive. Thankfully, there are some wonderful and truly amazing individuals here on Nexus who still use their precious time and energy to backport or fix many interesting and great mods from SE to LE.  So I take comfort in that for now...

Also, I agree with everything you said about 'modern' gaming and certain modders these days!

All the best to you and yours and to lovely orange, a bit moody, Cicero!  (maybe his name should've been, Brynjolf instead  )

I'm glad the answer was helpful! Sorry for the delay in this one, had some changes in my schedule this week and still needing to get used to it.

Yep, I use Proteus and all those mods, so be sure you will have them in SE without any problems when you have it! I love all those sliders, they are very helpful! For most I use the sculpt tab, sometimes is way more work to do things only in sculpting, the sliders helps to find the shape and minor details before you can "polish" stuff in sculpt.

Indeed SE is more stable (but I will always complain about LE enb's being way prettier). Today I just installed one mod that was impossible to use in LE, just out of curiosity and without so much hope, but the thing worked perfectly without issues in it. Also, SE have some mods that are a pain in the ass to backport (like those that use Faster HDT as requirement), so no need to do it all the time is a good thing, one of the things that convinced me to give it a try. I backported many mods by myself to be able to use, even with my limited knowledge in this matter. But some were impossible to me (like posers, animations and some others) so if no one backported it, I should just say "ok..."

I am also glad that are still great people thinking about LE side (for me, Xtudo is the biggest LE supporter!). I never thought that was fair to simply forget that LE people exist and wish that they move to SE just because most of the modders did.

Thank you again, dear! Cicero is indeed a moody one! He likes to use his blades (claws), Brynjolff is more calm and charm, not that violent HAHAH

No problem, dear Larissa I'm always happy to hear from you whenever you got time.

You have been really kind and helpful and I appreciate it very much since people rarely have free time these days. Especially for others. I'm still learning about sculpting in Race Menu  (and with not great results) but hope I'll get there one day...But it is a amazing and useful tool I'admit.
Also, I agree with you about certain limitations of LE and a bunch of mods that cannot be properly ported from SE. There are some great mods which need Faster HDT (especially hair and armor mods!)and I'm really disappointed I can't use them in my  game and some truly wonderful landscape ( mostly trees and forests) mods as well which are still SE excl. .
I have also tried to backport some things myself with pretty mixed results but I'm still wandering blindly in the dark and tripping over myself, so to speak.
So, I really appreciate all those wonderful people who are still doing the backporting for us like Xtudo, Turtlegodking, and others or those who make their mods for both platforms simultaneously, which is commendable in my opinion. It makes me really sad that certain modders  doesn't allow porting by others or deliberately make their mods SE exclusive forcing us to buy the game or not play with these mods at all,  but it is their prerogative.
Xtudo is indeed a pure genius in my eyes when it comes to dedication, high quality mods, modding and fixing mods! We are so lucky to have him here on Nexus! And some other modders too, with truly amazing and meticulously detailed and diverse mods like Kozakowy, 4thUnknown, Mihail, ElSopa... I admire them all and enjoy playing with their creations!

Have a great weekend without to much stress (at work) my friend and say hello to Cicero from old Mitzi and me!

+ I think Brynjolff is charming too...

I had very similar feelings about SSE. I tested dozens of light combinations for interiors and exteriors as well as ENB. I was constantly dissatisfied with the garish, distorted colours and skin quality, and the burnt-out contrast on plants and architectural objects. Only this week did I find a set that is acceptable:

      • Rudy's ENB SE for Cathedral Weathers - heavily modified by me (colour saturation clipped, shadows on ultra, changed fog colour etc).
I didn't use Rudy's recommended - Embres XD because it caused some nasty pink fog around the fire. Instead I got Ultimate HD Fire Effects SSE.

      • kira0218's ReShade with Ray Tracing for Rudy ENB - Cathedral Weathers - just the KIRA0218.ini file, without his ENB settings and RT.
      • ReShade 6.0.1 - I only use Vibrance, Tonemapping, Colour Matrix and HDR.
      • ELFX Shadows - only interior enhancer - There is one problem here, you have to start with the new game, it won't work in the old compilation
      • EVLaS
      • ENB Light

This is worth testing if your hardware can handle it. With me, as I wrote, the effect is satisfactory.
You can see the difference by comparing the two shots. Taken without additional editing:
      Old setting
      New setting
