Great images, Ian...yes, my dungeons tend to be pretty dark too!

And Erica is rather a pretty young thing!

      Many thanks, Les

Hmm.. Now I know how you make your wonderful dark elegant character shots ?
In my head I don't see why there should be light if there is not a light source !

Erica has " evolved " into quite an attractive character, but she has a very level, mature head on her shoulders

      Hi Ian,

In fact you are absolutely right as to how I get the dark shots of my characters

One of my favourite places is the cave called Redoran's Retreat, which is along the road that heads directly North from Fort Greymoor in Whiterun Hold, (watch out for the three bandits and their dog), when you go into the final part of the cave, you'll find a strange sort of wall thing directly in front of you with a gap through which you can see the back of the bandit chief, after dispatching him/her, look 90 degrees to your right where there are some barrels along the wall, there's a very dark and small recessed area to the right of the line of barrels...plonk your character in that little recess, turn her 180 degrees to face the light source...and that's where I take most of my dark character shots (my Rampage ENB makes that area very dark)

I did wonder how you did it, you always get such amazing results !

Until recently, I stuck with good old Realvision, and was very happy, too. Dungeons were dark, but you could still navigate them reasonably.
I have switched to Patrician, which I like a lot more, but dungeons are pitch black now. If you don't carry torches, or know the magelight/candlelight spells, you just don't see anything ! It gets a little unnerving if magelight fades out, while still battling draugr or spiders - lol

Whoa, Ian mate! Don't you use the Wearable Lanterns Mod

My girls always use it, saves carrying torches or casting magelight spells!

I didn't know so many preferred the darkness - lol

Outfit I believe is only the Barbarian armour, from Immersive Armors, the cloak is from Cloaks of Skyrim, anything else she's wearing is just vanilla !

Totally agree, hope they correct it in ES6. Being part of a travelling band would be an awesome questline !
Bring back the Guilds, too !

Your stories with Meeko make me smile, as Erica's stray dog has followed her around Skyrim for quite a while, she now can't imagine traveling without her second shadow
      Thanks for the lovely image

Oh, I remember that final boss room full of oldies. One of the hardest vanilla dungeons, especially with no followers. But good to see that she came out unharmed.

I avoid taking followers into dungeons since Lydia nearly drowned me in one of the submerged underground passages once !  She refused to get out of the way, and it was almost too far to swim back the way I came !!!
