My favourite image here is the portrait of Meralys.
Thanks for creating and sharing this wonderful set.
Fantastic pics you took frrom her and the way you used Lys in this set is also great,..
She , however , is now bound to her service , but Lys probably has no problems with that
The statues by MandragoraSprouts are unbelievable beautiful! And they blend with Skyrim ambient very well, super lore-friendly, details on point and great quality! And I agree with you, they give a lot of personality to the Daedric Princes, they have so well done facial expressions and elements, the work is so well thought and well executed.
I'm glad you like Lys in this set! As her twin brother is bounded to Mephala, she is bounded to Azura from birth and she loves the Goddess of Dusk and Dawn, respects her and is a very happy servant and proclamer of Her will..
Great job with camera angles and idea, Larys!
Glory to Azura
Of all the shots, I was still able to choose my favorites: This, this, this, and this especially made an impression. Great angles and effects! PS. Hah... Perhaps this is now my favorite set from you.
Lys is a very dear character for me and I was waiting this statue come out to make something special for my Moon & Star! And thanks about the angles and effects! Finally I have some resources to make most images as I imagine them and with a better quality than previously, and using Particle Field with ENB's DoF is just... mindblowing! Also, used this one for the first time, and is an interesting resource (I thank Moe for the recommendation of this mod!)
Thanks a lot for these links. I will definitely try Particle Field in the next kits! But I find Custom Light useless for myself. I like natural lighting elements to keep the colors as they are in the original. Especially in working with outfits and portraits of heroes. I can’t imagine a situation where it might be necessary to make, for example, purple or red. Unless I want to disguise the hero as Dunmer or Dremora.
And your angles are really getting better and better! The technical side is the most important thing in pictures, as for me. And how cool it is to look at such majestic images with ideal proportions of the photographed object. Such works are really deposited in memory. By the way, you might be interested in reading this guide. Maybe some information will be useful.
And indeed, ENB opens a lot of possibilities! Mine is very simple, but very useful and Jon (wolfgrimdark) helped me with custom DoF effects as it doesn't have by default (it haves DoF but not adjustments). I'm still learning to mess with it but I'm happy with Nirnrest. Tried other performance ENB's (and also Rudy) but the way Nirnrest have the colors, shadows and effects just fit my game as I like it, even using it only for the pics I really like how it is looking in the dungeons! But I need to confess that my photographer inside is still using the Lightroom and Photoshop to edit the pics as an extra resource and for the fun! I love editing!
Particle Field is awesome for effects and have many options. My favorite ones are the fog for the floor (white and black FTW), the petals and ashes. And Custom Light for me was very useful for the reason I can control the intensity of light, differently than Photons or MageLight / CandleLigh spells, that sometimes is super strong (especially if we are in interior ambients without too much space). I still keep Photons for effects (like I used in the heart on Ayem set or in Sanguine's statue for his rose), but to use as light "helper" I will use Custom Light as it is more subtle and everything there can be tweaked, intensity of light, shadows, colors... even Facelight resource is there.
Thank you so much again for your words and for the link! It will sure be very useful! I must say that most of time I just walk around of the objects with freeflycam searching a cool position to take a pic, experimenting the fov and other things. Usually I "forget" everything I learned about techs and leave the feeling guide me Is not the smartest thing but as Todd Howards says: It just works HAHAHA But is always good to know more about tech aspects and useful commands, to make everything easy and avoid time loss doing things. In this guide there is also a link for Combat scenes, it is very interesting for me! Once again, thank you for the tip!
