About this image

"I have everything for the budding alchemist!"

Claudette Perrick is not only a shrewd lady of the trade, she is also a deft hand at potions and poisons of all kinds. This noble lady seems hardly to be the one to scramble through shrubbery and grasses for alchemical plants, but she is who you want to find when you're in need of rare ingredients by the buckets, be it simple Nirnroot or a dozen of Daedra hearts. Skyrim may be a harsh land, but it is a land full of valuables of the floral kind. Claudette got a very interesting missive from Sinderion about some truly rare find, and after no word from him since, she had packed up and moved her business into Solitude.

How it came to be:

With the recent announcement from the Skyblivion team I had though about howthe very colorful characters of Oblivion would look like in Skyrim and how to make them as authentic yet also as realistic as possible. Of course, the best starting point seemed to be the characters anyone would know and remember well. Claudette Perrick is a prominent alchemist and one of the first merchants ever to greet you in the Imperial City. With grace and a no nonsense attitude she is a force to be reckoned with when haggling for the price of any ingredient or potion. She looks younger than I would like here in my version for Skyrim. Shifting the age just a decade when not using an age map is quite the conundrum, one I've yet to figure out here. Her face has been a delightful challenge otherwise and with the new KS Brows I've gotten much closer to the original, as brows make a BIG difference. For the rest I'm using my own version of Real Girl face and body textures with TCM specular maps, as well as The Eyes Of Beauty and KS Hairdos (Salt and Wind retextures when available).

What do you thing?

Thank you! I try to keep as much of the original self as I can without getting cartoon-y. It takes a lot of thought and trying out stuff, so I'm glad it shows!

She is as beautiful as my Wood Elf Dovahkiin's Bosmer mother remembers her to be.

      Thank you!

I have found out, that people tend to be fixated on the "horrible character creation" of Oblivion and miss how unique the NPCs visuals are. Just bumped it up to the next gen and gave it a touch here and there, building up on the game's solid groundwork.
