About this image

The well known (and somewhat cranky) shopkeeper of Imperial City's Market District has found her way into the lands of Skyrim. Trying to broaden up her repertoire of goods she has entered the city of Solitude with a ship belonging to the East Empire Company. Unfortunately for her, some shouty upstart has killed the king and now there is a civil war brewing everywhere. And thus Jensine got stuck in Solitude. As a distinguished and strong headed lady of the trade she's used to makeing a living out of anything and strife does bring with it new opportunities when one is a deft hand at haggling and knows her market.

How it came to be:

With the recent announcement from the Skyblivion team I had though about how the very colorful characters of Oblivion would look like in Skyrim and how to make them as authentic yet also as realistic as possible. Of course, the best starting point seemed to be the characters anyone would know and remember well. And Jensine definitely came to mind as one of the first choices. She's well known, is part of a quest and has a distinctive look, even for an Oblivion character (here with my own choice of textures, the shape is all vanilla though). For this picture, I've made her somewhat older than her origins and gave her a more obviously wealthy look. After all, she needs to look the part of a lady ready to expand her trading all the way to new lands; an impression has to be made that she knows how to make the money flow.

I'm using my own version of Real Girl face and body textures with Mature Skin age maps, as well as The Eyes Of Beauty and KS Hairdo's (Salt and Wind retextures when available). Getting the face shape right has been a lot of work in sculpting, but it was well worth the effort to see the outcome. I've accidentally made her a Breton before checking her race in the CS, but this one is fixed and as Nordic as the original. 100% guaranteed!

Comments are appreciated! Just keep them constructive, if your vision of Jensine in Skyrim differs from mine, thank you!
