If thou want to improve them - can only recommend to try make them look fluffier from the outside (maybe even just some tweaking of normal maps would already suffice)
Maybe also make colour on inner side of the ear different from outer side a bit.
If thou mean to make the ear have different colours - all thou need to do is to colourize the corresponding parts of the texture in corresponding colours. To achieve that the UV-layout should allow this. (will provide pictures if I will have time).
