When i first saw Vittoria 2 months ago, i can't describe it with words but immediately had the epiphany of recruiting such a character to Shield!
Man, before saying anything else, I am honored that you added Vittoria in the Shield saga, I am not going to lie I was eager to see this since you told me about your plan! Is that so that every time I was connected on Nexus I updating the notification bell to see if she was released
I love the backstory you gave her, very faithful to my vision of her past, of course with a few differences but as I said to you, this is a multiverse with endless possibilities and I enjoyed your depiction of her.
Her early years with her family being surrounded by weaponry and ammunition is perfect as it her passion with the crossbows came from an early age, being capable to practice with it and even modify them, nice touch
I also find interesting that she was always shrouded by the dark cloak of the deities of the assassins, and that vision of her seeing Nocturnal smile was superb! I imagine the whole scene and it is really good, giving some connections to her future abilities
Man, the mention of her wiping out the whole Belmont family is great, because she does that! And in fact as she is based on the Medici and the plot that happened with the Pazzi you surely know that the Medici “wiped out” the members of the Pazzi family in Firenze, even the innocent ones (Rumors said that Lorenzo de’ Medici paid for those assassinations
Oh! And the way she meets Perek is really cool, showing more prowess as a great way to meet each other, and her aiming is really goodm but I agree with Dylan, those 900 yards shots are not possible unless her crossbow is magical gifted, which I think it is. Nevertheless she surely will put a bolt between the eyes at 200 or 250 yards, which is the actual world record performed by Tom Smith and the longest shot made in real life. Oh and I love how she approaches to Perek, being cordial and well-mannered. And I love how you gave the usage of her signature shouts/spells of my build when I was playing with this character. Aura Whisper is her “Eagle Eye” or I should say “Raven’s Eye”… Assassin’s Creed inspiration after all.
And adding other things all I have to say is that I really enjoyed how she manages her comrades and friendships, being really closer to Serana and being her confident, and how Erandur is the only one who makes her laugh because of his good sense of humor, and yeah she doesn’t pursue sexual life but that doesn’t mean she can use her feminine charms to fulfill jobs, like the Kunoichis in real life! And Perek was very nice giving her Proudspire Manor but also that Vittoria will share it with her new family (Perek, Serana and The Shield Organization). And of course she would have an underground den to be out of the sight.
Regarding the outfits, man they are perfectly chosen, and I especially love the sexy ones, not too revealing but still looking good like the Victorian or Renaissance period, she looks gorgeous!… And of course she is really badass with her crossbow, sword and dagger plus her robes. And of course she would hate dresses, but being from the "nobility" she could be gallant when the time is needed... Even if she doesn't want to wear them.
And finally, thanks a lot for staying true to her characteriscs and my vision but also making your own additions, it really surpassed my expectatives… And they were high… REALLY HIGH! If my espectatives were as high as the Throat of the World, you reached the Sun, entered in Aetherius and create a big explosion as powerful as the one the Eye of Magnus would do.
And well, Vittoria (the playable character, not the follower) has something to say to you… Personally
And finalizing... You are the best and I am glad to be one of your friends. And I am really honored for this depiction of Vittoria.
The truth is i got stuck for several hours at her backstory, constantly making small changes just to approach as much as possible a perfect sense of Vittoria.
I had much much more in mind for her story but it would be quite an enormous read, so i decided to let a field open for future Shield stories where some more details of her could show up!
I told you i would respect any aspect of her existance that's why there are easter egg "references" to AC both on narrative and images.
The first armor was an easy choice...!! Haha! For the other outfits i had to try a loooot of things till i choose Avallach Robes and Rayne Armor.
The Henriette underwear was also an easy choice but she looked awesome in other lingerie too....!!!
For crossbow i used the Witch Hunter(Deserter X) one because of its color and because she needed to fire 2 bolts simultaneously!
The sword is the legendary Debaser from Oblivion and the daggers are the Fangs of the Ancient Tongues(Perek's gift)!
Nelofar Doreon...check out this(from then on it's just a matter of choice).
PS: Now for the 900 yard case(i'll not leave it unanswered)...Hahaha! I'll speak a little as a physicist and a little as a fantasy fan:
Speaking about trajectories it is widely known(at least by physics geeks) that one can achieve maximum range of a missile shooting at about 45 degrees angle.
Like a modern high-tech sniper rifle, it's not difficult to imagine that there could exist a super-enchanted modified crossbow in TES Lore with the power to send bolts at really great distances.
It is also easy to imagine that as Legolas in LOTR, there could exist a godly gifted person in TES also being able to have enhanced vision!
