I have yet to build a house actually, I guess  tend to wander too much to. most of my chars live out of their backpacks or at inns.

Your game is looking great, though that skeleton must ave been a surprise so early into your game, good thing you had backup

Thanks, my friend. On building a BYOH house, especially in my new game, you are forced to wander so that you can collect all the stuff you need to build it! More on that, possibly, in a future set. And yeah, that skeleton! He humbled me twice. Once, cuz he killed me (a few times), and secondly... because poor Kristen who seems to be more of a ranger... went up against him with that simple wood cutting axe. I later gave her something better.

By the way, I added a few more NPCs to where I have Merveil and Lunea (hope I spelled those correctly), and when I went to test, they all started fighting each other! Still not sure what triggered the reactions, but they are all allies now.

Hearthfire rush isn't usually a starting sequence for my files haha. In fact I usually forget that it's even in my game
Looks like you had fun on this first part of the adventure ^-^

I built all the BYOH HF homes on the xbox 360, but it was much much later in the game, but I did enjoy it. Lakeview Manor was my favorite house back then, and the one that my family lived in most of the time once it was built. For my new game, Lakeview Extended is an amazing mod, but it makes me a bit nervous needing to add the mod only after building the house. I get why, because you can build the house different ways, but still... Building the house takes a lot of supplies, so I will be having more adventures gathering them... or gathering loot to sell so I can buy the supplies.

PS. When I started with the PC version, I ported over some of my xbox 360 saves, including me final save at Level 100. Since the house was built, I could just drop Lakeview Extended on top of it, and everything worked fine, so adding it in my new playthrough should be fine. Fingers crossed.

I think it was the same for me. When Hearthfire released I already had a well established, high level account. But I rarely get to that stage of account anymore so I don't touch HF. Maybe I should. haha

Looking like a very interesting play through !
That horse turned up out of nowhere ? Looks like a magnificent beast too !
Would you believe, I have Beautiful Bandits on one of my playthroughs, but I have never seen them or their camp - ever ?  LOL
I'm excited to see part 3

Thanks - I wanted my new game to be a different experience, but I didn't expect all the adventures just heading down that road. The Beautiful Bandits are easy to miss, but they actually made an appearance in my first set of my new playthrough, that I posted several days ago. Just before getting to Riverwood and meeting Alvor. You can see one of them overlooking the road from above. They all have AI to sit along that ledge at various times during the day. Of course, with the tents I added, they are much easier to find in my new game.

Regarding that horse... I really should reload a save and see if I could tell where it was from. I believe there was a female rider, maybe a hunter, that was on the horse at one point, maybe asking for help during a wolf attack? Since she wasn't on it in that image, she might not have survived during that particular sequence. My new Skyrim is indeed a dangerous place, and not just for me.

Very interesting and exotic items here.  That big skelly looked a right old handful.

Thanks! He was indeed a handful... and at first he had me thinking maybe I had lost all of my game playing skills while working on my game the last few years. After I realized how big and powerful he was, I felt a lot better. I can't remember the last time I died several times in a row like that. At least after the first time, I made a save just before that curve in the road. Before that, I was all the way back in Riverwood when the game restarted.

I never merged esp’s so I find this impressive to say the least. My personal favs count up to 180 or so which means I’m interested in what you do here: showing you’re setup. I’ve got a little space left until 250. I startend out with Zelda too btw
    Greetings from the Lowlands.

For NPCs, I use the standalone Merge Plugins program. Doing a merge is like anything else modding Skyrim. It seems extremely confusing and difficult before you do it a few times. Best advice I can give, is to start off very slow and merge only a few mods together as an experiment, and remember that after the merge any NPCs (and their inventories) or outfits or whatever will have new FormIDs. So the things merged, and any places in game where they existed or were worn, are all gone and replaced with the new merged copies. Final advice... no need to merge when under 200... but don't wait until you get close to 250 ESPs before you learn how to do it.  You need to give yourself plenty of time to get comfortable with the process and test things out. I wish I had taken that advice!

Here is the link to 3 images of my personal Zelda games collection.

Thanks, friend! I use TGM for testing and sometimes for screen archery in the past when doing sets. But I am trying to use the console as little as possible during actual game play. In part for immersion and not cheating, and in part because it is too easy to do something stupid and mess up the game with a typo, or doing a command on something other than what you think you are doing.

As far as crowded inns go, my Drunken Huntsman has been so crowded at times, you really couldn't walk through it. Although truth be told, I have been in a lot of metal clubs back in the day where that was the case in real life. Thankfully, in my Skyrim the immersive wenches all have bright colored tops and high heels, so you can always find them in my inns!

My followers have said several interesting things in the past when I die, usually sympathetic, or maybe horrified. So far, none have ever said good riddance, ya big loser! Now... that would be a fun thing to have in a mod. Sarcastic comments from your followers when you do something stupid and get killed! On second thought... I would end up buying a lot of monitors in that case!

I love these shots along the way type sets.

    Excellent work my friend.
I look forward to more of your adventures.

By the way, Amber now has AI to get outside of the place she lives, so I won't have to wait until I can afford to buy the Underground Dwelling for Lady Kathryn to see her in my new game. And I did in fact make that conditioned so she only goes out if it isn't raining... and heads back inside early if it starts raining while she is outside. I know Amber would probably not care... but I have to have something immersive in my game! I will send you a PM with a few images soon, and we can discuss an update to HP at that time.

Your game looks very good. I like the clarity of the road and trees. Really makes the images pop. The four bandit girls are very cute.

Thanks! I will get more mod information in my game description as time goes on, but some of the credit for that pop goes to Rudy ENB. I certainly agree with you about the bandits... Kristen and the other bandits say "Thank you!" too.
