Amalina needs to understand: she is being used and will be used, throwing her on dangerous missions until she dies, she is a tool of the Thalmor, and they do not respect or value her
The Thalmor pursues a chauvinistic policy - they promote the superiority of elves over other races.
If they come to power, then Skyrim, like Tamriel, is doomed to apartheid (racial discrimination).
Even if Amalina decides to fight against the Thalmor, then she needs to look for allies.
As the saying goes: "the enemy of my enemy - is my friend".
Alone, she will not be able to fight such a powerful enemy.
But without reinforcement conditioning wears off, unless the person has been so broken they can't come back.
She does not appear to be that broken. In fact, i'd venture she is a walking time-bomb as far as the Thalmor are concerned.
