    Isn't he a nice one
Making it so attractive to stab a poisoned dagger right between his ribs.. without hesitation and any ethical doubts

I thought the way they talk to other races in the game indicates just how arrogant they are.  They don't believe nay other race is equal to them.  all are underneath them.  Now what does that remind me of?  1930s.... a certain party coming to power in the middle of Europe....

True, they're now infesting all our committees and churning out fascist rules for us to obey or else.

It seems like the wounds from the past still haunts her, doing what she is told by mere inertia, or routine ... Maybe she wants to thorn apart the spine of those that use her, but she has been beaten and humilliated in the past, basically a tamed beast that losses all the confidence. Hopefully she will quit the fear and become bolder to kill any Thalmor that tries to use her.

Indeed; conditioning counts for a lot.  She is genuinely afraid of the Thalmor.

Amalina was not very smart to question what Ondolemar was ordering her to do... Fortunately, at that moment, it was Ondolemar, and not Elenwen.Poor Ogmund, I like him...

Yeah, the first thing Ondolemar said to her was this quest so I went with it.  Good to put it in this particular story.  Amalina doesn't really care about Thalos.  Not her god.

The justiciar called Amalina a pet dog and treats her like a pet dog.
Amalina needs to understand: she is being used and will be used, throwing her on dangerous missions until she dies, she is a tool of the Thalmor, and they do not respect or value her   .

The Thalmor pursues a chauvinistic policy - they promote the superiority of elves over other races.
If they come to power, then Skyrim, like Tamriel, is doomed to apartheid (racial discrimination).

Even if Amalina decides to fight against the Thalmor, then she needs to look for allies.
As the saying goes: "the enemy of my enemy - is my friend".
Alone, she will not be able to fight such a powerful enemy.

You're right on all those points.  This is why the civil war is senseless; Skyrim has to unite to face the Thalmor.

She knows full well she is being used. She has been conditioned over the last five years to accept it.
But without reinforcement conditioning wears off, unless the person has been so broken they can't come back.
She does not appear to be that broken. In fact, i'd venture she is a walking time-bomb as far as the Thalmor are concerned.

I thought the music fitted the main picture quite nicely.  Thank you.
