Jorn! \m/Oh, is Siddgeir the contact? Well... it is a surprise and at the same time it is not, given his character. Very good dialogue about visible and invisible marks. Only Amalina knows her scars.

You like Jorn, eh?  Definitely a viking.

Aye, I put Siddgeir as the contact as it was both helpful to he story being processed and also as a nice little unexpected twist.  Thanks re: dialogue.  Yes, often scars are not seen as they are emotional and many do not think there's anything wrong because they cannot see the damage.

I used a song by Jorn in the chapter "The man who was king" about Madanach, but I don't remember the number of the chapter now. I found him through and a cover he did for Tarja Turunen's "I Walk Alone"! Really a great voice, I loved it!

Excellent story so far really enjoying this adventure, great works with the captures too :)

Just a small (one coffee) catch-up this time, you seem to have been quiet of late, hope all is good.

Thanks!  One coffee, eh?  Well I'm still productive.  Actually, got to episode 178 when my game crashed and I couldn't get back in, much to my disgust.  So I've restarted it all over again and am frantically levelling her back up towards what she was when my game died, and trying to get her the same equipment etc etc.  Over halfway there now.

I have just the mod you need.
"Immersive Cheat Menu."  In the MCM, set levels, perks, health,  etc.  You can also set things lower as well as higher.
I would think that when you play for a purpose, instead of just to see if you can survive, this type of mod would be indispensable.

It's not like you're going to end the story abruptly because she was killed by a random dragon, right?

Immersive cheat menu..ha ha well thanks for that.  I'm going well so far without having to use that kind of thing and I've also tweaked a few things to make the story - when I resume it - a little more interesting.

Didn't see him coming. Of all the mead halls, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into his and finds her contact.

Just he wasn't playing the piano.  Other than that....

I sometimes compare Amalina with agent James Bond 007 (only they are of different genders, of course
Then the Imperials - are the English,
    Nords - are Irish ,
And Thalmor - is British Secret Service MI6
This is a joke, of course.
But if Amalina were an agent in our time and in our world, then her character and skills would make her one of the best agents !

Ahhh nice one, yes.  So who would the Forsworn be?  LOL.

You will find out in the future if her skills are even better or not

Then Forsworn- are refugees (that's a joke too)
I also agree that this Jarl should not be trusted, since he mentioned to a former agreement with the bandits and complained that they became greedy - from which it follows that he probably received bribes from them.
But since Amalina does not have someone to choose between, she will have to deal with this corrupt Jarl and and continue to obey the order.

She knows she has to keep in with him at the moment as she has been ordered by her masters to do his bidding.  But after that... who knows?

For sure, Siddgeir will double-cross her. He's a lousy weasel.

Amalina might be wise not to trust Siddgeir too much.

Of all the Jarls, he's one lazy ass and likes the prestige but not the responsibilities that come with the title.

Yes Bethesda wrote his character well.
