So, as some of you have noticed, I'm more or less doing my old travel/adventure sets in the SE version of Skyrim from now on. It just makes the gameplay easier as I'm tired of all the CTD. I know a few of "us" here on the LE side of things have migrated to SE and even if I am too, I'm not going to leave LE behind. My posts here will be far less in images though, mostly just single shots or a few captures. No longer travels (alright, maybe one or two). The theme event will also be presented here on LE. Just letting you know...

Great capture of Alduin's fly, Rick!
I noticed that many people are migrating to SE, so I made sure the track button is pressed so as not to miss anything from any of the friends. Have a good time!

Thank you kindly, Larys! Alduin is very photogenic, almost like a super model!

I would've stayed in LE if my casual gameplay didn't act crazy on me. The thing is, I just recently rebuilt my modlist and now it's acting up again. It's simply too soon between those misbehaviours. I do run a heavily modded LE with far more HD textures than my machine can handle, so I'm alone to blame in this. It just looks so good in screenshots! For gameplay though, it's a horror sometimes with very staggering framerate. Some questlines I can more or less forget about, such as the Civil War, because too many actors in the screen would drop my PC to it's knees.

I will stay around here on LE and post shots as well, just not as many as I usually do and no longer travel sets. The travels and adventures willt ake place in SE, but I have so many characters made for LE that I don't want to leave them. They will instead occur in some smaller sets, event images or armor/outfit showcases...

I understand completely. My potato pc has supported a lot of things with my modlist, and look, it's just the basics for it to look minimally decent HAHAHA
But I will stop here before putting a video card, otherwise it will be impossible to play.

Tired of all CTDs? :D well after 10 years LE version can be finally CTD free my game dont have single original texture and i have hundreds of mods installed 10 000 animations almost all overhauls there is not much left from original game AND I HAVE 100% stable game it did take a lot of work and learning few external programs etc but now it is possible to have LE version with 0 CTDs only thing you need to do is keep proper load order and dont change mods mid-game thats all... but there are ways how to make LE version heavily modded CTD free now.

I run a very heavily modded LE with near 300 GB mods installed. That obviously takes a lot from my PC and it's a few year old one to begin with. I'm to blame of course as I've modded it far more than my machine can handle. It did run rather alright for a long time and to be honest, the CTD isn't that biggest issue either. My game runs so sluggish with a very staggering framerate during certain occasions, so I have two choices: skip many of the mods I'm running or try it again with the SE version which handles the game with far more ease. I went with the second choice and for the first time my Skyrim runs smoothly between 50-60 FPS with none CTD so far. In LE, I get about 15-30 FPS in populated areas or regions with dense landscapes. I've made it so because of the screenarchery, but for gameplay it's killing the fun of exploring things.

Good for you the game runs as supposed to though! Everyone should be able to enjoy this game without any hiccups...

It's hard not to take pics of Alduin when he's out and about, such a great villain, given how limited the interactions with the PC are during the storyline. I think this comes from the land being steeped in the lore and legend. Every NPC seems to have something to say about either the Dragonborn or Alduin at some point.

This mod is quite good and give dragons a bit more cosmetic presence

I totally agree with you, Will. I too wish the Dragonborn would have a few extra clashes with him before the grand finale. The World-Eater is indeed very involved in the history and the culture/conversations among the people of Skyrim. Makes him very real and immersive as the world circulates around his movement and actions. I very much like such build-ups too, letting the villian play a deeper role than just being the bad guy...

Thanks for the wing tip! I do use a lot of Rogueshot's other skeletons for critters, but the dragons I haven't tried yet. The wings of these beasts ARE very small compared to the huge body mass, so the idea makes good sense...

Thanks a lot, Tony! He's a great villain and I almost wish we'd had more interactions with him before the end fight. He's worth it...

Excellent capture of Alduin I'm also thinking of SSE but somehow my LE works quite smoothly recently. The CTDs appear just for a while mostly when I install sth new

I would've stayed true to LE too if it weren't so d'amn irritating. Crashes often come during the most simple things such as panning too far away from the charater when using TFC 1 command. That shuts down the screenarchery for me. Some animations are behaving wonky too as of late and tend to give a CTD, especially when switching weapons during a fight...and that's when you least one a crash. I was very hesitating about moving to SE as I had to redo all the mods again, but it's been quite a smooth change. Game runs better than ever, looks good enough for me (I'm using 2K textures instead of 4K textures) and the characters are quite fun to remake in this newer version of Skyrim. I will still post and do a few sets for LE, but my adventures and long travels will be in SE from now on...

      Thank you very much, K!
