A very nice set with cold exterior and cosy interior shots.
The exotic warpaint of your char marcs her as a stranger in this environment.

      Thank you, Gerd!

I do like this LUT quite a lot as it keeps the world "more realistic" and it's wonderful to attract what little light there might be in dark areas. I often use this one for casual play and this set is from such a session. I never really intended going on a screenarchery round, but alas, I'm "too damaged" by now I guess...

Her warpaint is certainly one of my more hardcore paints. Dark elves in my written world do use facial markings and tattoos to show their status and higher caste and warriors/fighters in particular have their reputation increased with added symbols and colours. Mages and assassins are two other classes that often use markings like this, but every paint/symbol has to be recognised and "earned" before it can be added. It's a cultural thing more than a cosmetic one.

A very frosty and cold LUT choice for the Snow City. I love the interiors you've captured and the great texture choices, but the exteriors are lacking a bit of charme and flair this City still have (despite the Jarl and his little minions). But that's just my personal taste. Nonettheless a great set my friend.

Petrichor LUT is in my top 3 of LUT's to use - the others being November and Vamp - and it's by far the most realistic looking fo them all. It kind of reminds me of a darker version of Rudy ENB (which I used to play with for a long time), so maybe that's why it quickly became a favorite of mine. It does appear cold and somber, but it can also be very warm and lush, all depending on the weather conditions - obviously - and I really like that. It's also a terrific LUT for portraits and interiors´shots...

I did use more extended versions of the great cities in Skyrim before such as Dawn of Skyrim or JK's Skyrim, buit I've re-worked my modlist to make it more lightweight. I'm having an old video card and Skyrim is sadly becoming sluggish at some points, since I've added so much to this game (I think my downloaded mods are around 300 GB and thats just insane). These shots were taken with a save meant for casual play only, but of course I started screenshooting all over the place, so textures might not be all 4K and such (switched out most of those) and I've also scaled down a lot on the overhauls, both for landscapes and NPC's. I do kind of like these simple textures for Windhelm though. They make the wood look damp and dark, the stone cold and frosty and the whole city rather plain, as I suppose it would be considering it's very old and more or less an ancient bastion. What textures/overhaul are you using just out of curiosity?

Many thanks for the kind words, my dear!

Thank you very much, dear old friend! I've started all over with a few saves, because I re-worked my rather hefty modlist and needed something more "light-weight" for casual gameplay. Of course I couldn't stop myself from snapping some screenshots anyway, so I guess I'm too deep in those tracks regarding this game. I will keep playing these new saves quite a lot though, but I will switch the presets according to their race. I simply can't see myself start up almost 400 characters again...
Luckily these saves are made in regards of the original race, so I will not mess up the perks and such along the way. I also aim for many of the bigger quests, but I'm sure I'll be wandering off a lot as well. I will still play the old character saves too, but some of them are quite unstable so I felt I wanted a fresh start.

      But I'm rambling...

The Dark elves in my writing often use facial markings or tattoos to show they're of an elite class or in some cases belong to a certain trade. It's a status symbol of sorts in their culture. In Skyrim, I'm using warpaints instead and considering the rather noticable "paint" of Zewina in the portrait shots here, one could easily say she's a very feared and respected woman...

It's certainly one of my most wicked looking warpaints, but it suits her character and her roleplaying class as a Dark elf blackguard even if she's more casual here in a normal dress...

      Thanks a lot, GTX!

Neat! I like that mystical and mountainous birb a lot. Also, might I ask what that big rock outside Candlehearth is?

Many thanks, my friend! The bird shot nearly made it as the main image of the whole set, but it didn't really match to the title of the upload, so I went with a casual portrait capture instead. I like that bird silhouette too though and I had a few options for it with different FOV and some blurriness to the background, but in the end the fully visual mountain peak spoke to me more.

The big chunk of rock outside Candlehearth Hall is from a mod called "A stone in snowy Windhelm". I tried to link it for you, but it's sadly hidden here on Nexus at the moment as the author is working on another version of it. Feel free to PM me if you need that stone in your Windhelm too...
