What a lovely and beautiful set, my dear. The chosen LUT fits Morthal perfectly.. that I have to admit. But I'm missing something in this set. There's something special about this region in Skyrim. You've missed the deathbells... and you can't really put in a Morthal Image set without a Deathbell.
So please.. can we have one? Next to main image
It's a great set of my second favorite area in Skyrim. Let's see when you hit the first.
I'm still very much more active in Enderal as I want to see it through with at least one character, but I also miss Skyrim and the world in high-quality textures. I really just wanted to play some casually with this save, but the yearning for screenshots run deep within me nowadays, so I couldn't let go. I only stopped at certain hours in the game though and took a few images from that moment before moving on again. That's probably why I left out the iconic deathbells as I did with the rest of the beautiful marshland. This region is certainly my favorite area of Skyrim even though I have a lot of favorite spots in other Holds.
I'm guessing your favorite area is Windhelm - unless we're talking about Dwemer depths - but I base that only on the images I've seen from you in the past. You do seem to love the wintery cold capital of the east...
A deathbell shot, eh? I'll see what I can find the next time I start up Skyrim again...or maybe I have one still not posted among the hundreds of shots laying in wait on my harddrive. I'll take a look...
The wet shine on the pics are very cool, I can feel everything "sticking" in that place, like my city during the winter HAHAHA
Beautifully done, Rick!
Idgrod is indeed a very likeable and interesting character in the game. I feel she's the only one that resembles the true "völva" of the Norsemen (the rest of Skyrim is basically the Norse culture anyway with Sovngarde being Valhalla). That's another reason Skyrim gets to me this much as it's part of my culture. Sweden is quite old as a nation compared to many countries today and before that we had the Vikings here and Swedish Vikings were actually the once that stayed true to their Pagan beliefs the longest. They travelled mostly to the south or east though (on rivers through Germany, Poland, Russia) and were not as big part of the raids of England and France as the Norweigan or Danish Vikings were.
I love the wetness effect! It's not always visible with many of the LUT's I use, but this particular one is both dark and realistic and it absorbs this wetness wonderfully!.
Thank you most kindly, my dear!
I know you're very caught up with Rudy ENB and since I used to play the game a lot with it as well, I'd say this LUT is very close to Rudy, although much darker. The wet effect applies as well as many of the specific ambient light effects, perhaps not as glowing and shiny as with Rudy, but still there.
Thanks a lot, Gerd!
Didn't overthink it too much in this set though which is probably why it acts both simple and realistic. Lots of nice faces to capture in the game thanks to all the wonderful mods...
