   I'm glad for her.   
   Var was looking for shelter - like a stray dog. 
    
   And now she has :
   a roof over her head, a food, a warm bed, a decent clothes, new friends and even a possible lover (I hope in the future he will not bite or scratch her , when he turns into a werewolf  ) 
    
   Companions accepted her, she received respect and a little love - that she could not get in the family, and Var became a happier.

      Yes she needed the comfort of all you have mentioned, and feels part of the Companions. There is still plenty to tell, so there is much to come, yet.

   Var was finally accepted by the Companions and it is clear that she is very happy to be part of something so important. Looking forward to see her new blade!

   Does she get a sword? She could try something new and get an exquisite waraxe?
   One-handed, of course. I thing she is too small for a true two-handed weapon.
