That was unrealistic. This is closer to the lore (Chestnut red).
In the Witcher I liked her party dress better. But this is Skyrim and a little cleavage goes a long way.

Started out by being on Team Triss in Witcher 3 after I played the first two games. Then read the books and Yennefer became much more interesting. Understood her bad mood/sarcasm better. I would love to see You do Yennefer with this kind of quality.
I still find it hard to drop Triss in Witcher 3, as her personality is more forgiving. Also I think of the opening scene in Witcher 2 where she is naked in the tent at the military camp. That scene was seriously hot. Even better than the Elven baths.
Then Hearts of Stone came and Shani was even more appealing than Yennefer/Triss. Also had a much better sex scene.
irt's not the style of yennefer's clothes...but the textures themselves being lower in quality to those of triss...at least in skyrim engine.
Witcher 3 is still a masterpiece that takes forever to finish. Characters are unforgettable.
The Witcher Netflix series was better than expected. The timeline could have been explained a little better. Hope to see season 2 when this goddamn Corona virus is over.

I rally liked fringilla book version...she was complex, but the netflix one is just a fanatic, Geralt will never belieavably romance her XD

And then there's francesca...they gave her a son...an elf with a son and a brother she doesn't have...
Filavander and Toruviel look like theater actors gone mad...ridiculous and childish.
And let's not even talk about the casting...trying to be politicaly correct is a thing...but intentionally change every character with an iconic look and turn it into something else just to have people talk about you is degenerate.
One could go past the looks...but not when the actors you pick are so bad at acting...like Triss...she is so bland,she comes off as annoying every time she is on screen...it's true her part sucked (thanks to the writers) but Yennefer's sucked too...the writers should completely be fired imo...but she still did an amazing job with the s*** hand she was dealth with.

Oh if they had cast Kate Beckinsale as Yennefer I would have been so happy. In Van Helsing she had the perfect looks for Yennefer. She is/was a total babe.
Some mentioned Eva Green also. That would have been great too. I still think this Yennefer played the part pretty well even if she was not to my taste.
Fringilla and Triss were poor choices. In the books it says that Yennefer and Fringilla had similar looks.
Not in the series. How on earth could they pick her as Fringilla. As You said Triss's part was just boring. Though she is not a major part of the books.
I also missed the short story with Essi Daven aka Little Eye. One of the best if You ask me. Also how could they skip the first meeting between Ciri and Geralt when she was a child promised to be wed with a prince. Kinda essential for the buildup.
Some parts seemed rushed. Like they could have split the short stories over 2 seasons and show them more in depth. The action scenes were the best. Cavill's sword fight in the first episode was epic. The episode with the striga was creepy and well done. The last wish was not as good as I would have liked.
Invest more money into better screenwriters?
Yennefer did an awesome job,she was really great in her role...even if what she hadto say was completely out of charcter..that's not her fault
