I had real troubles picking two shots here, because part of me just drowned in the beauty of the landscapes. I too very much love the fern shot with the glimpse of sunlight near the top of the set, but I had to pick images suited for the theme and not my personal love for nature and landscapes. Luckily you had a lot of images, so I could still combine my selection of two shots only, to show both the fantastic snake-scaled lady and the scenery.
Truly a pleasure to behold this contribution, my dear!
Edit:
Habe mir nochmal alles erneut angesehen. Du stellst gern die Dinge zauberhaft dar.
Bezüglich Zauberhaftigkeit, Märchenhaftigkeit und Magie hast Du Dich selbst übertroffen und nochmal eine ordentliche Schippe draufgelegt.
Fantastische Bilder. Auch meine Frau ist begeistert.
First, the theme. The soul. The deepest reaches of the individual. A lot is often hidden there. It is also something that many seek - a kindred spirit, a soulmate. In this case, your character (Schönegrünehaare?) seeks it for another reason - to banish its evil from her world. I do wonder what she'll do with it. Maybe we'll see in the next chapter.
Then, the colors - pink, green and that russet red-brown all together under that steely gray sky. They really work for me. I especially like this one for the blurred background with the last of the day's sunlight hitting the forest floor. Great colors in the butterfly pics, too!
Next, the character - a wonderful interpretation of a magical woodland creature protecting her territory. Magnificent medusa-like flying hair and fascinating, almost reptilian eyes to match the snaky hair.
Finally, the story. Well told in the images as your character senses that something is wrong, carefully tracks it down and at last confronts it and stops it. Those final images are interesting, too. I think that maybe, at first, she feels a little pity for the "lost soul" but then decides it is too dangerous and should be locked up. She reappraises it in the penultimate image (maybe it 'speaks' to her there or tries to trick her) and then she decides it better be locked for a long time and tosses the key. Really love her attitude/expression in that last one.
Love that crazy hair !
I never thought that I would use this hair one time
