Hi vpulse08, I recently made an xBox exclusive mod that adds the "Dual Sheath" mechanics called Realistic Equipment. The mod is xBox exclusive, and as we don't have anything like SKSE, we have to rely on hard coded records to pull that off (basically armor records that look like the weapons and automatically equip/unequip depending on the player's actions) for that I am also using a mod called "Simple Workaround Framework" that we are using as a tool to manage compatibility with other mods (like the old injecting on Update.esm, but hard coding the records, so anyone can see them and use them, it is also hosted on Nexus as a resource for xBox modders/porters)
And I was wondering if you would be open to give me permission to make a pack with your weapon mods and replaces while at the same time adding the needed records and meshes for them to work with Realistic Equipment. I know most of your mods are open permission to port to xBox, but as this would be a kind of merge and modification I figure I ask :)
Edit: oh, and the merged mod would be only uploaded to Bethesda.net exclusively for xBox... If permissions are granted of course.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, and please go ahead with the merge as long as they're open perms or just requires proper crediting but the other author I've used assets from is also open perms and okay to post their assets on to other websites
I use the standalone versions of your Nordic Blades and Nordsteel mods. I've used your Strunvir mod on a few playthroughs too. It's really cool that my dragonborn characters and followers can have unique weapons of their own, that still fit seamlessly into the game as if they've always been there. Thank you so much for your hard work.
Hey there, I am just about to give some of your weapon replacer mods a whirl but I do have a sort of request if you are open to such. Skyrim's daedric weapons are... reeeeeeeally in need of a replacer, if you ask my opinion. I don't particularly like the design they were pulling as it just seems... entirely impractical and just spiky for the sake of being spiky, when we've seen weapons in oblivion and morrowind that look far better despite the age of the games (my personal favorite being morrowind's as they actually look both demonic and practical).
Would you be willing to give the daedric weapons some love? To return them to being something that should strike fear into the hearts of man and mer yet hold the otherworldly beauty of demons who play gods... rather than the seemingly hastily churned out pieces of scrap metal that the current daedric is.
The Daedric set is in the list, but I'm only planning to tackle the sword and greatsword. I'm also saving it for last as some of its parts would be difficult to handle. Also, I'm just at 3 out of 14 or 15 sets in the list so it would really take a while as well.
And indeed, quite a number of people have asked me about handling Daedric weapons as well, but all I can say is they'll absolutely come in due time; for the sword and greatsword at least.
As for tackling the whole set... we'll see. Making a proper bow is still impossible for me at this point, so I'm quite discouraged at tackling full set of weapons for now. Caused quite a tremendous burn-out last year, but getting prepared again and hoping to nail it right soon.
You are more than welcome, for me, the sword and greatsword would definitely be the most welcome. Being a avid user of sword weapons in Skyrim, I just... really despise the daedric set for what it is. It's the swords that bother me the most, so just hearing that has my hopes up! I can't wait!

Many, many thanks for trying them out as well, and hope you can find some use for the upcoming ones!
