Looking forward to all the contributions!
This will be a challenge. Right now, I'm looking at a void of images. But, it's got me thinking ...
We also have that outer space realm to re-create for Fallout 4 and the 11th theme...so space environemts in the Commonwealth and the Divine/Hellish lands for Skyrim. Quite some travels...
Sorry if it took me a while to get it all ready, but this particular theme required a bit of more work from me and I also needed a short break. Now we'll keep a steady march onwards again and see just how far we can reach. We only need to pass heaven and hell on our way...
The landscapes are also impressive and fitting to the theme, actually i never thought about that too deeply... but that shows that the theme may be more versatile and open to a greater view of interpretations.
Glad to see the break served you well to some extent as new inspiration, i also have my fair share off Skyrim and reduced activity around here, but i still enjoyed the beautiful work from the others. It is important not to lose oneself to some kind of feeling obligated when it comes to the things we love to do Now i am just intrigued by your set and curious what the others may come up with
Seems like a long time ago when i first saw this community event and i still remember how i was hooked to make my first contribution to the moon theme As always, thanks to you, Rick, for the inspiring event you created and keeping this community (and its imagination) vivid and vibrant
Sometimes you get what you're hoping for, so I'm glad the twist is to your liking. It's your request after all, only I added a bit darkness to the angelic light. It seemed appropriate as Light and Darkness is the core of the eternal conflict in most fantasy realms. It's such a deep rooted thought too, so I feel they both belong to each other. There can't be light without the dark and vice versa...
I know you're way ahead in your epic tale by now, even if I've missed quite a few uploads I'm sure. I hve such a long notification list, but I will try and start digging my way through it. I haven't been very present here in Skyrim - not for posts, not for images made by others - but this break did me good. I'm actually intrigued to get back in this familiar old worldspace again, but I need to joggle Enderal, Fallout 4 and a few other games too. I need to work out a system I think!
Glad you noticed the landscapes in this set, my friend. I've spent hous making new supernatural characters, but I wanted some landscpes too for a better mix. I tried to see beyond the recognition...I mean, we all know that's the Collage of Winterhold for an example, but it could be a celestial palace in the heavens too, the meadow could be the Elysium fields. I rather enjoy making old concepts new like this with the themes, because it's all within your imagination.
Yes, it's been a long journey so far and I too remember your first contribution for the Moon theme. I think I even asked you to take part, but memory fails me on this, so I'm not entirely sure. In any case, you've been one of the most "reliable" contributors since then and with your talent and skill in staging, it's always very intriguing to see what you will come up with. For this particular theme though, I suspect a "best of"-set from your tale since your story gave me your suggestion about the first idea for this theme. I'm sorry it took me this long to get here, but I always had "your theme" in mind and now it's official...
Hopefully many from the community are getting inspired! That's one of the main reasons I do these themes in the first place!
if i recall correctly i made two contributions to the moon theme, one intentionally and submitted and one which was a bit behind the deadline just for fun/me which you found and included anyway so this memory of yours still works
There might be multiple sets from me for this theme something like a "best-of" compilation of older ones and since the twist perfectly matches the current point in my story line the one or another story chapter one of which i still need to compile, so it should be up soon.
Your pictures are very inspiring and they show a fantastic diversity and highest quality. I´m deeply impressed. I have a soft spot for the green devil
Glad I got you interested, Heike! I wasn't too worried about you to be honest. I know this theme will poke many of your fantastic stories and creations!
The "green devil" is one of the most powerful demonlords in the southern regions of my world. I have gods and I have demonlords as their counteract, but although gods can only be worshipped and hopefully they reply through blessings, the demonlords can be summoned to the mortal world for a brief moment of time. Cults of demon worshippers are therefor rather common as many see the demonlords as more powerful than the gods, but as often with religions, the many cults often fight each other. Her name is Myzona and she's the Defiler of Waters and the Queen of Marshlands.
Welcome back home, my lady, I should say too!
It is a while ago that I made a new char, but now I feel teased to try it again for this theme
I know you really like magic and the concept of Light and Darkness, so I'm glad to hear this collection of images made you even more interested and perhaps even sparks the idea of a new character...
I will have a think and get a set up and running. Great idea for a theme!!! love the idea.
I put a lot of time and effort into this one, so I'm glad it's showing even if I'm sure I'll be blown out of the water by upcoming contributions. We have some fantastic screenarchers among us here that can truly bring this theme home, as I'm not too familiar with supernatural creatures or the heavens. The hell and the darkness I can relate to, but lets hope for a mix with a good balance for the final compilation.
Glad to hear you're intrigued too, my friend! I have been very dormant when it comes to following the image uploads made by others these last few weeks, so I have a long list of notifications to go through, but luckily these themes give me a better opportunity to check up on things instead of just posting myself. I've also played mostly Enderal and Fallout 4 for a while, so it's time to dig into Skyrim again. It's great to hear you love the idea and hopefully you find something suitable until the deadline. Venture high and deep...those celestial and demonic creatures can be tricky to reach!
Cheers!
