It was a funny story.
I was flying on Dev Aveza from Labyrinthian to Winterhold, got myself caught in a middle of a snowstorm somewhere above Yorgrim Lake. I was literally snowblinded - no vision further than 10 paces around. And it was freezing cold even for nord. Alas I aven't completed Alteration Ritual Spell so was not able to change weather. So I got two options - to land and try to find out my location (fuck the worldmap, I am immersion freak), or to just continue the flight till skies become clear. I choose second variant.
As a result when I passed through snowstorm, I found myself somewhere above the Sea of Ghosts, not far from Yngol's Barrow directly above one of the Bellyance's dragons (damned Emerald Snappers! they seem to have nest somewhere around the sea!) and a looter's camp full of bandits. The only opt was to move along till noone have noticed huge flying airship in the sky (noone ever gives a f*ck. Yeap, why bother.XD) and the night was coming, so I descended somewhere near Winter's War. Never have been there If not that snowstorm at the Pale.
So I've stopped there to make a camp and to catch some fish for Salmon Stakes.
