That critter is pretty darn nasty and you have to face a lot of em. That little spired guy wasn't too much trouble until the big one care around
I've also got Unslaad, yet another quest mod I've yet to try and it looks equally fantastic in your hands. The stories are all independent though, right? You don't need to do Unslaad to understand Vigilant...or are they in the same worldspace/dimension?
Oh, so many grand shots here, I almost feel bad for picking just one favorite, but this is it for me...
You can back out at anytime until you start act three (it involves a manor near Chorral). After that you are committed to the journey. Both Vigilant and Unslaad are separate stories, though they do make references to Vigilant in Unslaad.
This author (Vicn) made my favorite creature mod that adds a whole bunch of critters to the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC's as well, totally worth it
Definitely worth a play. It is quite dark, so be prepared
