This is a wonderful set filled with well-executed scenes showing many ideas for the use of hands. I really enjoyed viewing it.

Thanks! When I first saw the theme I wasn't 100% sure what I'd do, but it turned out quite nicely in the end I suppose

Creativity is so strong in this one...

Yeah, I meant you as a person! This whole set is filled with wonderful ideas and a lot of work, which means I truly appreciate the efforts being made here. Even more so since I can't stage scenes at all - I'm too lazy and my PC would crash instantly, but mostly I don't have the delicate touch to set up scenes like these. Therefor it's superfun to look at what can be done with this game by those who master staged images - you obviously included.

At the same time, I'm also a sucker for images taken during regular gameplay when the world itself shows a story if only we pay attention to it. For this reason, I picked one of the bonus shots (although they could be staged too for all I know) and one from your hard-worked sets.

The set you're most pleased with is rather interesting, because it reminds me quite a lot of the opening cinematic scene from the favorite classic RPG "Baldur's Gate". I suppose that's mostly out of luck, since the environment is different (it's on top of a watchtower at night in the rain in the cinematic clip), but if it was meant as a tribute to this old game, you get some extra goldstars...

      Thanks!

Staged scenes are fun! And I've gotten so much better than even 6~ months ago. There's still a lot I don't know though. For instance, the next thing I'm planning to learn is how to turn some presets into followers, since making copies of my PC with the console command leads to a whole host of issues, especially if I have to reload.

All of my images are staged in the sense that I'm not playing the actual game, but some are more spontaneous than others. Scenes such as the ones made specifically for this theme are things I wrote down in advance and already knew in my head how they'd look, a lot of the other images tend to be spur of the moment affairs.

I actually haven't played Baldur's Gate, but I think I know what cinematic you mean. It was not intentional, though it would've actually been a good idea~. I just wanted a bigger guy to throttle a smaller guy \o/

Well done on the pictures! Posing's always a pain in the ass, but you made it look good here.
Hopefully it didn't give you way too much trouble. :)

Thanks! I'm very familiar with wrangling NPCs into poses nowadays, it's the actual pose creation that can be a pain - for the big guy throttling the little imperial, I actually never got his hand around his neck quite right, his fingers or his thumb will always clip into his neck, and I just move him a little bit so it doesn't clip on the side I'm snapping the pic from, I just got bored of adjusting it. So there's always a bit of trickery in getting things to look right \o/

So much love for details and great effort in accomplishing a picture in mind.
    Very impressive work.

Thanks! Details can be difficult, the game simply wasn't made for this kind of thing, but making it work is part of the fun

I think you did a fantastic job! Getting people and objects to pose properly can be a pain in the ass, but they all look believable here.
Some great ideas and matching images for the theme, I love it!

I've kind of given up on weapon posing in Blender. Rotating a little triangle in a 3D space and trying to figure out how that matches the actual weapon in game hurts my head. Nowadays if I want a character to do something with a weapon and I can't find a pose by actual modders to make it fit, I just pose them without the weapon and use Jaxonz Positioner to put the weapon in place. Fingers are also tricky to work with (3 nodes for each finger, ugh) but they mostly work.

I also haven't done a crawling pose before this. I think I broke his legs like 20 times before I made it look natural.

This is a very nice set forthe theme. My favaorite is the shaking hands image. Never recognized a shinking hand pose before.

I've done handshaking before, the trickier part was getting them to hold daggers behind their backs in a believable manner \o/

Love the pictures, especially the one where she's hanging over the cliff and he's desperately trying to save her. The expressions and lighting really compliment the scene nicely, nice stuff!

Thanks! Finding a good ledge to dangle off of was more problematic than you may think. I had to go to Falskaar for that one. I'm sure there were some other spots in Skyrim too but the more I would've had to bend and twist around the rock the harder the pose would've been to make, and I prefer being lazy
