Of course he's worthy! He's a dwarf and even almighty Thor himself got his hammer from a masterwork smithy dwarf!

      Thanks a lot!

That would be the Radovid outfit from Witcher 3, ported to Skyrim thanks to the mod Divine Elegance. I believe there are three colour options for it too.

Love that shot of the chandelier's shadow on the ceiling, that's really cool. Nice job with your characters too, their stout noses and cheekbones really do give the impression of dwarves.
    Nice set, Rick :)

That was what caught my eye too and I was wondering if anyone would notice about it!

It's fun making dwarves and they do appear dwarvish at least, but of course the ultimate modding would be if I could change their body mass. In my world dwarves are sturdy, robust and hefty - not all of them of course - so the general idea is very true to the original classic fantasy dwarf image. With some armors you can "build" some meat on them - at least for the males - but my female dwarves are rather slim for some reason...

      Thanks Dylan!

Very cool looking set,.. love that LUT also,..
Your two dwarves did let the place go to waste a bit,.. their cleaning skills do not seem to be up to date,...

Mudpuppy is a really fine LUT that works rather nicely both indoors and outdoors. The colours are a more bleak which I find is suitable for a cold world as Skyrim, so I often use this LUT for ordinary gameplay. My only "issue" though, would be the eyes are sometimes more or less washed out. You loose clarity, sharpness and colours all the same - not everytime, but often enough to bother me a bit. Still a damn fine LUT though...

I believe most of my characters are in need of a good washing or a bath, because I do tend to add a lot of dirt and specks to them...

I really love this classic fantasy race too. If I had to call the shots at Bethesda, I would've made the Dwemer race true dwarves entirely. I don't mind them thinking outside the box for the Dwemer, but I grew up with fantasy dwarves due to boardgame roleplaying games and reading, so to me they're as essential as elves.

I've done a few dwarves for my gameplay in Skyrim though and these past few days I've spent some time with them on adventures and screenshots, so more dwarf sets will be coming...

Since you mention Dragon Age, I must let you in on some thoughts here. When I first played DA, I was so thrilled about the game and I loved it - still do - but one think made me really hate it, namely the dwarves. Not for the reason they treated this classic race all wrong, oh no, quite the contrary. I had been writing a lot for my own worldspace and stories before I played DA, and when I realised the dwarf culture of DA was so similar to my own ideas, I felt all beaten. They had stolen my ideas!

So yeah, the dwarves in my writing are very close to how they're being described in the Dragon Age universe. It's a bittersweet feeling, because they do it so well, yet at the same time I feel I missed out on a unique opportunity for my own worldspace. I've kept my ideas though, but made some slight changes or else it would appear too copied...which it's not! The one thing that was mostly different though, was their belief and faith in paragons - heroes of old times and of great deeds. Ironically I had that idea as well, but for my elves. It's not easy being unique when writing fantasy it seems...

      Many thanks, Will!
