Very nice set Jon. The shots with Wulver on the roof look fantastic showing a magical atmosphere. Surprising nice is the shot with the sea-gulls too.

Thanks Gerd, I like the water in Skyrim a lot - thought it was peaceful. Wulver is a lot of fun probably because he is more fantastical ;)

Your character is absolutely gorgeous! I have one quite similar but I love what you've done with yours. Do you mind if I ask what mod gave you those black feather wings?

Many thanks! He is my Tiefling Rogue-Mage character. The wings are from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83736/

Fabulous set of Wulver--especially love the moody/evocative 4th embedded image of him.

Howdy - There are a couple shots like that but I know what you mean. It can depend on the DOF shader on what options you have. I am using a tweaked version of Snapdragon's DOF from Kingeric (I also have a version of Kingeric's DOF in my most current GS Jyggalag preset). It has the options to do that kind of effect. It has a lot to do with the far and near settings - these are the ones in Kingericks DOF shader, found in Snaps or Jyggalag or at enbdev.com:

      AF posX=0.5
      AF posY=0.5
AF Near Blur Curve=5.6 // lower to blur things in front of the focus
AF Far Blur Curve=1.33 // increase to push out blur - values depend a lot on your FOV value and the focus point of the camera - how far away it is.

You pick your camera focus point (can adjust with X and Y positions). Then depending on the focus point you can use a low near blur curve value which, if the object is farther away, will cause close things to blur. Here is a good example:

As you can see only the sign comes out sharp, the rest tends to blur. The rest is just tweaking things like blur amount, radius, etc. Experiment - that is how I find a lot of cool things you can do with DOF :)

No problem. I am no expert by any means though - just lots of practice and experimenting - but glad to help when I can. DOF is a fun tool, so many cool things you can do with it - but the shaders all have their own set of tools to use so often you have to try different DOF files to get what you like. I just happen to find the Kingeric one the most flexible for my own tastes.

Thanks! I don't like heights at all but maybe with wings I would be less nervous ... or I would be a grounded Tiefling :)

Awesome and very atmospheric captures of Wulver! It is very cool to see him with wings and I think the wings suit his free spirit personality so well. Your Solitude city looks amazing and indeed has medieval feeling. And I loved Wulver's outfit in the inn, I've never seen such attire before and it fits him wonderfully.

Thanks Nataly! He is so much fun to play - very much like his personality. Busy working through guild quests and had total of 3 in Solitude hence why I was there.

That outfit is from the Imperial Fine Clothes mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78297 Only it uses a different mesh that changes the bottom to trousers which I much prefer (from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/91220). Normally it requires the Bruma mod but I took the mesh and moved it to the Imperial Fine Clothes mod and then added the textures I needed from the Bruma mod ... as I didn't want the whole mod, just that one outfit.

It fits him well. He has a couple of "fancy" outfits now for when he needs them.
