I love the vampire edit. Looks pretty cool.
    Love this shot, too:

Thanks! Always liked doing spooky Undead stuff so I was quite happy when their eyes properly glowed in the dark

Some very dark, spooky and frightening images here - from the accusations of others to the nightmare of imprisonment or separation.
I find the last image the most interesting. First of all, the excellent use of lighting and coloring combine to bring the focus on the two characters on either side of a physical barrier.
It could be a vignette of so many different stories. Is the barrier prison bars or possibly a portcullis? Which of the two (if either) wants to be on the other side - and why? What is their relationship? Spouses? Family? Ruler/owner and subject? No relation? Is one of them dreaming this nightmare? Or, is it a living nightmare? Fascinating.

      Thanks!

It's nice to read about different interpretations - my own idea when making this was much simpler: She's a vampire and he is her prisoner/cattle. I sharpen my character's canines in Racemenu Sculpt if I want them to be vampires but I don't make them -really- long so it's not quite noticeable in that pic (but you can see them in the one above).

He's also somewhat hunched/drained looking while she's upright and wearing fancy jewelry. If I did this again I'd probably hunch him even a bit more or make her a little bit taller to better illustrate the power dynamic here - but it's perfectly fine as is, I do this all the time~.Of course, other interpretations are totally valid too, I guess if there can be more than one way to look at it then I did my job

I had to create custom poses for the characters myself and I'm not 100% happy with the way their hands are gripping the bars, but at the time I was using a skeleton that had pretty limited finger movement so I hid that as best I could.

I think I was using a lantern or two for the lighting but otherwise it's just ELFX + Snapdragon ENB being like, really good.

Thanks for the explanation of the origins of the image. I had a feeling it was something like that. But it is such a wonderful image that, in the absence of any other evidence, my imagination tends to fly to the Romantic.
The difference in clothes and stature can be explained thus: He was the ruler of some duchy or kingdom but has been deposed by his younger brother but another family member (his sister, maybe) helped him to escape before he could be executed. He now lives in hiding outside the castle/fortress. She is a foreign princess (she could still be a vampire) who was to wed him to create an alliance. They fell in love. The younger brother wanted both the crown and the princess. In this scene, they meet in secret at one of the gates (guards are either loyal or have been bribed). He's worried about her safety but she has good news - maybe some loyal forces have been recruited to help restore his rule.
I realize that's very different from the original story that you've pictured, but ... the same image could be used in either story. Maybe.

Thanks! Love the outfits, even though I can already feel my face turn blue just -looking- at that corset

It's not that bad to wear one when it's custom fitted but only for few hours. I'd not recommend a whole day definitely

The main shot, with all the fingers pointed at the character, is a nightmare indeed. What do they want, LEAVE ME BE!!!

I must admit that the main shot here and the ones of the same kind, are truly speaking to me. Not for the sake of being someone's fault, but for the feeling of being officially accused by whatever stranger passes you by. I'm diagnosed with social phobia since nearly twenty years back now, and although it's more under control today (meaning I can at least go outside and do some stuff), there was a time in my life when I stayed indoors for two years because of the fear for people and how I imagined they looked or thought about me. The main shot describes this very intensily, because that's exactly how it feels in your mind, even if your heart know the difference. Sadly the ghosts and demons inside our heads win many battles though and we end up with mental illness such as anxiety and depression. I have them both, so I can fully relate.

Marvellous interpretation of this theme, Irstina! Infact, superbly done in my opinion!

Thanks! I have been fortunate enough to not suffer from anything like that, but I was definitely looking for some psychological angle on nightmares.

My original intent was for all the ones pointing to be dead (and some of them certainly have discolored hair/skin), but I didn't want to make them too gross looking or anything either since that would distract from the point, plus, it's more open to interpretation this way

Thanks! I'm not really taking a stab at anyone, I was serious when I said I haven't really done any photoshop before. The rest isn't any out of game post processing, just different LUTs from Snapdragon.

      I believe you!
I don't understand all the rage of some people - its our hobby and we share images for fun.
And yours are wonderful (with or without post processing!)

      Keep up your great work!
