I like to remove the hair to help fine tune the face too.

I usually check how the bald head looks throughout the process just to make sure I'm not creating anything ghastly that I can't see. But I typically keep it with a neutral/clean haircut like you see here while I'm working, it gives me a better perspective of the future final product.

This is a good little piece for any new char builders. I believe we all use some variation of this, I choose to leave off paints, most of the time. She sure looks good in the last two shots.

She's the only current character of mine to have warpaint. I usually save that aspect for last so by the time I get around to it I've already fallen in love with the face I've made and concealing it with paint doesn't sit well.
      Appreciate it, thank you!

Cool - it's great to get an insight to how other people create their characters - she's looking good too !!
I usually have a picture in my head - then get distracted and create something totally different - lol

Haha I've definitely done that method too. I've tried to copy/emulate some celebrities or someone else's character I like but I always screw that up and just make a different face :P
      Thank you!

Very interesting! She looks fabulous! I usually start with a particular char already preconceived in my head (especially in F4) and then spend an hour or three (and a few "console showracemenu" pauses in game) to finally get to where I like them. The ones that are real bears to make are chars that are already established in another game because the char gen menus and head meshes vary so greatly.

I usually have more of an idea of what I'm going to make than with Aria, but I guess I had enough of a look and feel to go on in order to make this work in ~1 hour.
I almost never try to make people/characters from established universes, but I find the textures to be the biggest roadblock. I'm too lazy/useless to make my own skin textures so trying to match existing ones just never works well for me.
Glad you like her, Pat :)

I enjoy looking back on these as well long after the character's been done.
