So many questions. Multiple posed horses, posed riders with non-default mounted weapons for starters. I'm aware how this could be done in Bryce or DAZ, others, but I can't imagine what you would have to add on in Skyrim to do it. There are some very old Screens that beg the same questions. Also, to me, the background looks like a well done use of an image billboard.
This user has some serious muscle in their computer setup for sure. This kind of image would be a 5 hour bake in 3Delight for mine even with a billboard. Maxed magnification in viewer with very very little texture resolution degradation. Wonder how big the source image was prior to conversion to use here.
