About this image

These setting in the enb.ini file fixed the weird eye glowing glitch for me when using the enb version 366. I tried the mods that were supposed to help fix the mesh but they never solved the problem for me.
These settings did.

Your Welcome glad I could help. And yes it still seems to work with the latest ENB's.

In my mod "SUEMR", I tweaked the eye meshes with much better reflection settings that make eye textures behave with latest ENB binaries. Looks great even without ENB.

Part of the problem had to do with those vanilla reflection settings. The gloss setting was way too low, making eyes try to reflect like flat pieces of metal instead of like glass orbs. The specular strength was also too intense in vanilla. Rather than tell every eye texture modder out there to "re-do" their work, I figured this solution might be helpful.

Thank you very much for your work. There are so many different sets of eye textures and many different customized followers use their own customized
cube maps, textures, etc. This made this glitch very hard to track down the cause for me and I am sure others who use followers from several different authors.

my experience is the weird glow is because of the new skinspecular shader, interacting with the alpha layer in the normal map of eye textures. the new shader picks up the alpha as a specular map and makes it shine too much. it can be fixed by making the eye texture's normal map darker or black. i just darkened mine.

Yes I agree. But I also believe that the new shader at its default setting is bit over powered. The updated presets that I tested all use the default settings, and the advice posted by the preset authors has been to use a couple of mods to try to fix it or to simply disable the shader in the setting. Disabling it defeats the purpose of upgrading to version 366. The version I was using before was version 349 which did not give me the issue. In my testing I have found that I have a
2 to 3 fps improvement using version 366 in my game which is why I was upgrading in the first place. I might add that I first noticed the glitch while developing my own custom skin and eye textures, but testing with other eye mods gave me the glitch as well, so I tried changing the settings in 3 different ENB presets that the authors have updated for use with 366 and the glitch disappeared in all tests, and I tested the settings with several different eye and skin sets. I didn't see a difference in the skin sets I used just a difference of skin color depending on the preset I used. The one pictured is my own eye and skin textures using a customized version of NLVA ENB which I tweaked for my own use but I got the same result with the eyes in the other ENB presets that I tested.

0.2 Specamount for the whole body is dev too low,you need a very bright bodyspecmap for this settings.
Some eye mods have strange cubemaps, maybe check the vanilla one or eyes of beauty,no glitch here. .)

I did check the eyes of beauty and several other eye mods. I also tried several different ENB presets that have been updated for use with ENB 366. I tried Ranns fix and I still had the glitch. The glitch did not effect the body at all, using several different skin sets. The only difference was the skin coloration depending on the ENB. As I stated in the description this worked for me. And it fixed the issue not just with my normal NPC's but with those followers I have added with mods that also suffered from the glitch. Believe me I tried a lot of different fixes for this issue as I was in the process of working on a custom skin and eye mod myself. These are the settings I changed to fix the issue and these are not the settings that are set in several popular ENB presets for example the newest Rudy
ENB. However these settings fixed the issue in Rudy ENB for me when I tried it. Some ENB authors are saying to turn this setting off when using Ver 366. Feel free to use the settings are not I posted this simply because I had done a lot of research trying to find a fix for the issue perhaps it will help someone else. Also I should add that the eyes and skin pictured are my own creation from the mod I was working on as this is the last skin and eye
sets I tested with this fix, however it worked just as well with other skin and eye sets including fixing the issue with some standalone followers I had in game that use their own skin ,eye, eye cube map, hair etc.
