Thanks. (see my response to BlackMaid for the explanation of my aims) I don't think I quite succeeded in what I set out to do. But, I did like the abstraction in most of the images.

So an older definition of dissolving... devolution.

Yes. I see what you mean. I guess I was thinking of dissolving as a kind of passive action. I wanted it to be more active. Maybe 'deconstruction' would have been a better choice of words..

Hmm, Hroki the Sword-Maiden. Was a time when I tried to get Hroki fight with me, was always a fail. This must be Jordis, one I see little of. Or maybe Lisette, the face is the same.
Of note, the Ebony was much a part of the only play style I know.
I do like the edits, last one stands out to me. Very nice set of edits

Yes, this is Jordis. I'll have to look for Hroki. The name sounds familiar but the memory is vague.
I do think the ebony armor is one of the best looking ones. It all fits together well.
The last one was the one i was really trying to reach through the progression of images. As I said in other comments, looking at the progression now, it's a little jarring. Next time () I'll have to work on smoothing it out a bit.

      Thanks very much.
I do like most of the progressive abstractions. But, taking a second look, I think I should have tried to make it smoother.

"I'll just step into the background ... and disappear, then. Oh! and here is all your junk."

I was trying to "draw out" her essential character by removing all distractions.
When I completed it, I was pretty happy with it. But in looking it over, I see "room for improvement".

Thanks very much. That was what I wanted to show and the last one is probably the best example.

Very interesting development from the original pic tho the abstract graphics in the second and third from the end and finally to b/w. The main and the last pic show her elegance and beautiful lines in the best way ( my taste )

Thanks. I had the idea to strip away the non-essentials to get to the core. The difference between the last and the next-to-last might be too strong, though.
I agree with you. The ones that show the color fading away are not as elegant of line - they are a bit too fractured. I may have to try this again with smoother textures and a smoother devolution. (I'm not sure that's even the correct word in English but I mean it to be the opposite of evolution.)
