I do think the ebony armor is one of the best looking ones. It all fits together well.
The last one was the one i was really trying to reach through the progression of images. As I said in other comments, looking at the progression now, it's a little jarring. Next time (
I do like most of the progressive abstractions. But, taking a second look, I think I should have tried to make it smoother.

When I completed it, I was pretty happy with it. But in looking it over, I see "room for improvement".
I agree with you. The ones that show the color fading away are not as elegant of line - they are a bit too fractured. I may have to try this again with smoother textures and a smoother devolution.
