If someone is looking for a hot day, look no further

She is looking really awesome, especially love her look as a bad ass mage with the mask and cowl! Just look at them

But who will dare to offer her a cold drink? Awesome set Rick.

Great shots and I love the fiery, glowing look of the tats in the latter shots.

The total commitment you put into one of your characters shines very brightly in her. The fire shots near the bottom are outstanding, but not to be outdone by her tat's and outfits. Wonderful set.

It's like the overlays themselves are burning with fire in some of the last images, cool effect and surely very interesting if one could control it, glowing overlays depending on the magic power, what a thought

Many thanks Erwin! These three overlays were my ideas for the Community Overlay project and I was very happy about being asked to team up for a mod. Of course, all the hard work and the mod was made by DomainWolf, so I wanted to show the overlays he was kind enough to create for my sake with three different image sets. These ideas are all from my writing with three characters from my stories who now could see new light, so that made it extra fun.

But yes, playing ESO has been very inspiring too, mostly for my writing. I actually plan to remake the characters I have there for Skyrim as well. Three of my characters from Skyrim are already done the same way in ESO, but the others are new ones (I have nine characters since there's a character limitation unless you pay for more slots). I also wouldn't be too surprised if a theme or two in the future bears inspiration from ESO in some way...

Good to see you and best wishes for a great 2019! I have a lot of catching up to do, not the least the contributions for the 14th theme that ends on Sunday...and I think I saw something from you the other day over at SE!

I had so much fun with this lass when taking images. As you know I don't use magic too often with my characters, mostly because I've related to personas from the northern parts of my worldspace. In my writing, magic was "invented" and found in the southern regions, so it's much more common there. This girl, Tiwah, is from one of the oldest nations in the world and some may even call it the birtplace of magic (it's up for debate though, since magic is of importance in many neighbouring nations), at least among humans. It was sheer fun just blasting away with destruction magic and that staff was hellishly powerful!

It's good to be back, even if I'm taking it a bit slower. I need to write on my Swedish stories too. Images from Skyrim is part of the inspiration progress though, so I will make sure to post a few images a week...

I admit, this character stole a lot of time for me when taking shots for the overlay presentation, so I had a bunch of leftovers for this upload. Maybe I should've cut a few of them out since they're quite similar, but I didn't have the heart to do so after all the hard work...and she's an expert fire mage, so I didn't want to be on her wrong side!

Now that I see the whole package of images, I also realise that the tall vertical shot with her back against the viewer, is actually from a pre-test of the overlay. They got more improved after that test, more smooth and "transparent", as I asked for, but somehow that image kept itself in the image batch and got posted. I'll keep it though, but it can be informative to know if someone looks at the details of the overlay there - they are vastly improved since that shot.

Yeah, that one shot did sneak by somehow! I should've been alarmed by the lack of letterboxes, but I assume I got too focused on all the fire and curvy flames!

The outfits were simply perfect for her, since she hails from warmer regions in my writing - desert lands even. I also wanted to have an outfit that showed quite a lot of skin, to better expose those flames. Since she's a Redguard, her skintone is also slightly darker which made the overlay harder to detect in some darker areas...in opposite to the water priestess with a very pale skin tone.

Superfun making these! Lots of raw and explosive magic!
