   It's been a while since the 14th theme was posted, but right now I've started the gathering and the sorting process, the preparing for the final presentation of the community contributions, and it all begins with your "gift" since you were the first one out...again!
   
   Nice use of variety here in the pictures. It's almost more fun to have different meanings to choose from and it also actually makes the final work more interesting too with the added diversity.
   
   I've got a long day of work before me doing this collection, so I better hurry on. Thank you for being supportive regarding this event from the very beginning!

      It has been a while. I am surprised to learn that mine was the first contribution.
      Thanks. There were so many possible variations to the meaning of 'gift' - looking through my images, I settled on the one that seemed to have the most images associated with it. After all, Christmas seems cheerier if there is more than one gift under the tree.
      Thanks again for being the curator of these fun events.

      Thanks very much. It's not nearly as imaginative as yours but I found a lot of images in my 'reserve' that lent themselves to this kind of interpretation.

      Thanks. There's plenty of ways to interpret "gift" but I went with the one that my small collection of images could support. That quote is one of my favorites from Twain. I'm pretty sure it was meant more as a comment on mankind, but it says a lot about dogs, too.
