I caught a version of 3d tree LE as well, but my results wasn't very satisfying.
Looks great for close-up, however for the mid distance, trees (mainly pines) wasn't really shaped (a bit blurry and grainy) during my test.
Do you have this sensation?
Nice trees mash-up.
Then using DynDOLOD I have the following settings set in: Skyrim\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_TES5.ini
TreeLOD=0
TreeFullFallback=1
When in game, i went into the DynDOLOD MCM menu, and changed the fade in time to 0.5sec
The LODs/Billboards are not perfect, but I am happy enough with them to put up with a little pop-in for now.
For me, "Mid distance trees" are not lods. They are meshes, and fully skinned
It's difficlut to tell you an exact distance.
However, I have special settings for tree rendering, so maybe i should try different value.
