The judicious use of cropping and framing plus your enb/lighting set up puts "beefcake" on the bun (absolutely horrible pun....and I make no apologies for it :) ) This pic is the one I grabbed real quick to put in my desk top folder - 'This is how it's supposed to look' It eliminates everything except the strength and handsome visage of the male in this image. Wonderful set.

Thanks! Beef is what's for dinner, after all. I rather like that one too. I snapped a bunch of closeup portraits of that one guy, some better balanced than others, but this one stuck out for me. Even though the geometry on the coat is pretty rough, I like the way the patches of dark and light break up the image and draw the viewer's eyes to the model's eyes. Freckles always help to disguise my occasionally haphazard face-sculpting, so he's got that going for him as well!

If I do the BB code thing, I'm not sure if it picks only the one pic I wanted to light out or the whole pic of all three,... we'll see in a minute I guess,...
I liked the whole set , the theme is pretty manly, even on a bunny. Your Luts do bring a lot of immersion to the shots and the way you pick them together is also pretty cool,..
This one stood out (a bit) amongst the rest,.. love the angle on him, making him almost look a bit clumsy . Together with the attention to the candle it's actually a weird pic,.. but it works for me,.. ( I mean the one most to the right)

Thanks Erwin! Yeah, I nearly cut that one of the fellow in armor leaning backwards- because it is totally clumsy- but something about the lines and the odd foreground focal candles made me decide to keep it. In some ways it might even work better as a single image than as part of a triptych- but if I started doing that, these sets would get interminably long(er)!

Very nice set!! I feel ya on the male gazing thing but you don't have to find your character attractive to realize you made them an art piece to show off. They aren't alive, they can't make you choose to like something you don't. I.e. you don't have to be attracted to them to realize they are considered attractive.

Oh, totally- but I realize that I've adopted and imitated conventions of depiction that may not have the most beneficial of roots, or effects for that matter. There's definitely room within the genre of screen-shot portraiture for beauty in all forms, not just the conventional fine-featured, strong-armed, immaculately made-up Nord gal. Nothing wrong with that per se, but a lack of diversity in art can justify a winnowing of diversity in life that is... troubling.
