My contribution to the 11th Theme by Rick
When I first saw this theme I misread and thought it said Riddled with Steel. However, the images didn't match that ;) Being the first thing that came to mind I decided to stick with it.
Unfortunately my Skyrim seems to be crashing and I am to lazy at the moment to fix it. So just one shot as I simply couldn't stage what I wanted without crashing.

      If you want to make sure that he is never going to complain about taking an arrow to the knee better riddle him with arrows

    the next time I go digging in an iron vein, I will not be quiet, lol. I will have the fear of becoming the new victim of "the foolish archer of iron mine". This archer must think: -" All the iron mines are mine..." lol
    l do not be good to be minor on skyrim, obviously

      Foolish archer Do you know how much iron you need if you want to shoot 30+ arrows at every person that looks the wrong way at you?

    Well, steel can sure be deadly, so you're not that far off track with your contribution, my friend! I actually like it; it has a calmness about it, yet at the same time being bloody and grim of course. The victim of some raging savages perhaps? An imperial strolling about to close to a Stormcloak camp maybe? The usual bandit ambush? Pictures often tell stories, and this one is perfect as the start of a serie of events I think.

    I also like the colour palette with only shadoes of white, grey and black with some red tints. They add to the scene and the atmosphere of a deadly and harsh realm...

    Sorry to hear about your crashes! It must be very frustrating when staging images. I crash occasionally too, but I love the game too much to let it bother me. I suspect it's the lack of memory in my case though, with my worldspace all filled up with grand textures and overhauls.

      Steel sure can be deadly... especially when it hits you with force

      Maybe in the end, it's actually better this way. I don't know if the story I planned would have added more than this shot. I had a lot of fun trying things with rampage to get the exact light, shadow and colours to get the shot I wanted. Was a bit of a challenge to find the right tree with shadow

      Somewhere in my 300-400 gbs of Skyrim I must have made a mistake When I have time I'll fix it

    I think its a great fun pic - adds to the variety of interpretations of the theme !
    I'm fighting to keep Skyrim running myself, years with no problems, now suddenly issues I've never even heard of before.

      Thank you, I had read "gruesome" about the shot.... and now fun It is surely a matter of perspective!

      I have been running a crashing Skyrim for year. I completely rebuild my Skyrim from the ground up earlier this year and didn't have a single crash since then.... well till now. Might be one of the mods I installed specifically for the themes.

    Oh, I'm so sorry about the crashes. I hope you get that under control soon.
    Anyway, the shot is great, you could say, the arrows pattered down on him.

      I have accepted crashes to be part of my Skyrim a long time ago
