I love this questline. Even though I just sell the Aetherium gear after.

Heh, I didn't max ench and smithing to use quest junk :)

I've always loved this one, too. Next one up.

I do the same thing, max out the two. Then I give heavily tempered and enchanted armor to my followers and complain
when they end up way over-powered.

I always feel sorry for Katria when I come upon her body.

Freyda isn't maxed on either. Think she's around 72 on smithing and 65 on enchanting.
Katria, its a shame she fell, but I can't quite get the physics and timings of this one right in my mind. Katria's body is fresh so she would have just died, surely, else it ought to be a skeleton. If she only just fell, then the bridges across the gaps are far too convenient. I thought they had been handled into position by the Falmer over the intervening years.
Also if Katria landed where she did after falling, the earthquake was caused by her triggering the trap which was nowhere near the tree trunk. In fact it was a few passages and caverns away. Doesn't make sense.

I don't really remember the approach to the ruins, even though D did it not that long ago.
Freyda felt an earthquake before she got there? Maybe that was the convenient culprit?
Though how the body remained perched on that pillar is a tad strange.

Aye there was one as she approached. I just think it was all badly done with regard to the timing and the convenient bridges.

It's all quite simple. Because Dwemer.

And actually I don't enchant weapons at all since I disable exp gain on the magic schools and default temper them without potions. :). Armor is a different story though lol. It is silly to temper Armor over the fairly low cap, but I do like health and stam regen and silly high disease resist because Dragonborn. I've not seen a vampire dragon, so figure I'm immune as well. I do actually like Zephyr because of the unique Draw speed.

I've found that limiting my magic schools to 0 stops the idiotic guard commentary on them. I'm no mage and certainly not "that one from the college". You may have noticed that I really really hate mages.

Its so interesting to see how different people play the game differently. Its really good to see how different it can be.
And no, I've not noticed how much you hate mages...
