About this image

"My good axe carves the skulls of men,
My tough fist thrusteth sure,
My strength is as the strength of ten
Because my heart is WAAAAAAAAGH!!1"

Sadly for Orc Gaharad, it would take the strength of eleven to defeat the werewolf. RIP

( Gaharad the Marked I )

Bathing in a pool of his own blood after being felled by the werebeast, and as his simple spirit set to leave this wretched world... a 'ghost' of sorts appeared before Gaharad, whispering:

'I can grant you back your life... I can grant you back your arm... at but a small price... all can be yours to harm...'

Gaharad, no longer feeling the tingles of pain from his mangled body, chuckled as he thought himself far gone and being tricked by Sheogorath, or worse, Boethiah... but curious and assessing he'd have nothing left to lose, he agreed to the bargain thinking to himself ''if anything, I'll just cut down whoever tricked me''...

Alas, this would prove impossible, as for the moment Gaharad THOUGHT of agreeing, his body surged with life, his left arm appeared right back to how it was before being torn from him by the werewolf, and his eyes, desiring nothing but the decapitation of the beast, opened wide only to be distracted by a faint glow coming from his left side. The 'ghost' whispered again:

' 'tis but a small gift... a token of my value for your drive... in the form of this ghostly blade... I'll be by your side... until your thirst for blood fades... until the day you die...'

And so in the end, it turns out Gaharad cannot smite down the trickster that bound him... for he is now bound to the trickster whenever he readies for bloodshed.

As he sheets his curved sword (ed: curved. sword. [made you say it in that voice ;p]), the Ghostblade disappears, but the moment he takes his scimitar, against his will, his left fist clenches strong in nothing but air, but the Ghostblade reappears within his grasp.

A convenient trick, in the end, as while the blade doesn't appear to be made of any known material, therefor not allowing Gaharad's mastery in smithing to make full use of his knowledge, it can still be improved like any other blade should he desire so... with calm focus and ectoplasms; two things the Orc seldom felt the need to have.
