About this image

Hi hi everyone, I missed you and all your wonderful art while things were so crazy here at home!
I had to flee the largest recorded California fire, it came to within just a couple miles of my home. I stayed at my sisters house, where another fire (far far smaller thankfully) came just as close to her home. I am back now and things are mostly settled and put back into order here. So I am looking forward to viewing your inspiring images, stories and poems again, as well as posting a few more myself now.  ^-^

For Tyr's outfit I re-textured the cloth parts of the Witch of the Wild armor (I call my version "Wild of the Witch"), and edited the mesh around the breast using Bodyslide (words like Blender and 3DSMax are scary to me, lols).  Since the original image wouldn't be appropriate for someone who might be easily offended by certain areas of the human anatomy, I used the armband in photoshop to cover those bits.
Here is the original for any adults who are not offended by something that males are allowed in this world of double standards: https://i.imgur.com/lRrDPMh.png  (Warning: "adult" content exists in my reality).
This was also my first attempt at adding smoke to an image, that's why it's not so good, lols.

Interesting, I didn't know you could remove an endorsement.
Not sure why someone would, but they just did.

I gave no indication that I was mad. But since my feelings are obviously important to you,
I could always PM you when I actually am mad about something, would that help? ^-^

Ye Gods, I have just read your news above...and to think that we in Ireland moan about the rain, kudos to you for your strength and courage (as well as your lovely images)

I'm very glad to hear you are back and I hope everything is ok for you and yours.

And of course that image is entirely apposite to your past circumstances.

Thank you. It's all over for now at least, and we even having an unseaonally cool August weather at the moment. Though I wish it would rain here during the summer, it used to fairly often when I was young. Nothing like in Ireland though I'm sure, but yea, consider yourself very lucky if you don't have to worry about firestorms, they're scary as fvck honestly. This one got to within a couple miles of my home and was over 300,000 acres.
Ohs, thank you. ^-^ And kudos back at ya, for images and all the great comments of yours I've been reading, always nice when people are truly interested in each others works. I can already see even from my short time here, how inspired everyone is by what's going on around them. Gotta say I'm beyond impressed by this image shares community in general. ^-^

Thank you, it's good to be here and settled back in. Enjoying catching up your story too,
though I shouldn't go backwards I found out after I got a spoiler from doing so.
Creating that smoke was really fun, even if I had no idea what I was doing, lols.

Yea, many people lost a lot sadly. And thanks, She's one of my faves that I created, and the outfit is too.
I'm guessing you followed the link to the *ahem* more adult oriented version?
Also, I'm quite enjoying all these gifs you're posting, you have a knack for finding really high quality ones.

Seems like a fitting image for those circumstances lol, but luckily you can cast rainstorms in Skyrim...

Thank you. And I was so praying for rain the entire time. It used to rain here a lot more often when I was younger, now we could use a little magic.

Really great to see you back. You and everyone else out there have had my prayers and the prayers of many others here in Omaha.

Thank you, it's great to be back. And, Thank you extra for all the prayers, that was so thoughtful and sweet. They definitely helped, I remembered you were a few times during my travails, and I want you to know that even if nothing else, it helped me to stay calm and trust that things would be okies. *hugs* ^-^

Jesus.... Am glad to hear that you and your sisters places are fine and you got through it all without any loss, thats kind off a miracle to me.
The image itself reminds me of those caves in oblivion where everything is shrouded in smoke\fog.
p.s sorry for my bad english x_x

Thank you. And yea, you're right, it is kind of amazing. The fire here was the biggest in Calif's history about 300,000 acres I think, and was only a couple miles away. Then the one by my sisters was actually closer, though much smaller, only about 1,000 acres. It was pretty freaky cause I drove 86 miles to get away from one, and ended up right next to the other one.

P.S. Your English is quite good, seriously. There is only one tiny mistake in your post ("off" instead of "of", witch I would've thought was only a typo).

Nice to see you back in one piece then. Hope your home made it allright also,.. (PC is working, so it must be... )
Our friends in Colorado had a bit the same experience as you had, with the big wildfire in Huerfano county. Firefighters did an amazing job there to lead the fire away from the town their vacation home was in.

I'm so happy for your friends then too! It's a horrible experience even just leaving and not knowing what is happening. I had a hard time not staying on edge while I was away.
Someone down the highway from here made a huge sign to thank the firefighters, inmates, police and heavy equipment operators that saved our homes. I was touched that they also added the inmates to their list. I think many would have not cared for them as much as the others, yet they are people too and often people are sent to jail in this country because of unjust laws.
So sadly, one of the bulldozer operators lost their life in one of our fires too. I hope they somehow commemorate that heroic individual well, and that their family if any, is well looked after now that they are gone.
More than anything, I hope that more people will start to wake up as to why fires are becoming far far more frequent and far more devastating these days. Only rarely are these fires started by anything other than humans directly, yet so many people are in complete denial of such an obvious fact.
