The poor guy is going to hate being back to wear his shabby old leather armor after this showcase!

      Thank you very much!

There's not too much you can do with them...or so I thought, but once you start pulling the sliders things start to happen! Thank you, Patrick!

Teutonic knights are so slow they make war elephants seem fast

    Looking good Rick

I suspect you've tried them out and failed miserably while playing Total War (or something similar) then...?

Many thanks, Chris! Even orcs can have great days (nights) and look good!

Wow - I totally love your orc knight! His aesthetics are just perfect...and perfectly handsome On top of that, the armor - and Caffeine enb - look like they were made for him.

The night landscapes are beautiful, too. The auroras are very fine indeed

I wish I could please you by saying he's indeed a handsome knight, but alas this fellow normally wears light leather while sneaking around with a bow. He's a scout and a tracker in real, so as usual the armor showcase has tricked you...

And another trick...images are taken with Rudy, not Caffeine! I know I confuse you by talking about them both all the time, but I've gone all-in on Rudy at the moment, even for the Catwalks (the exteriors are just so colourful and breathtaking).

Thank you for your always so kind support, dear Judy!

Lol - well I think we can agree that he's handsome and that the enb makes the shots totally beautiful

...and with these words of wisdom, I bid you a good night! Time for this lonewolf to get some sleep, because it's early dawn here in Sweden!

Wow ... this ork is a very impressive knight. The armor fits ( hadn't thought it would a good outfit for an ork, but it is ). Great showcase and wonderful night action, stunning sky. Music enhances the strong feeling perfectly
    Absolutel great set

The good fit for him actually surprised me too! I would've thought this knight armor would look rather ridiculous if worn by an orc, but he wears it well. Sad thing though, he's no real knight at all, only the model for this armor. In real he's more of a tracker and a scout, so this guy normally uses light leather armor...

It was quite fantastic to wander through the night, seeing all this dark and colourful magnificence all around you. I play with sleep and eat mods, so normally I can travel that much during nighttime, but I don't use any immersive mods for the Catwalk sets, because they are all about showing armors and outfits. It intrigued me to do more night walks in Skyrim though...

Music is perhaps not for everyone, but this metal band is one of my favorites. They're Greeks...

I doubt the order would take in an orc, but he does wear their armor quite well if I may say so. Obviously, he's no knight in my regular gameplay - he's more of a woodland tracker and scout - but it's always fun using your characters as models for completely different classes...

Many thanks for the kind words!

Groovy set. You manage to make a suit of armor that always looked a little goofy to me display well. Love the balance of light and shadow in those figure shots.

By the by, do you know about the SKSE tweak to improve warpaint/makeup resolution, and thus avoid pixel-paint all over an otherwise high-resolution face? If not, this is the easiest way to fix it: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038/

Thanks, DV! I've always prefered character shots at night (or in dark environments) in case of lighter conditions. The black background and the dark shadows provide far more interesting portraits to me compared to white-washed opposites, but as with anything it's a matter of personal taste. Nights (and when it rains) often gives me more character shots during a play session, so I might be a bit obsessed about it.

When I saw the warpaint on this fellow on the screenshots after gameplay, I admit they made me confused. I do have the SKSE tweaks in the ini-file to improve on warpaints and makeup, which is why I wonder why it didn't work for this guy? Could it be the warpaints themselves are of low quality or something? I need to check in the game, in Race Menu, and see which I've picked and compare them with a few others I have installed. I haven't had this issue before...and I do hope it has nothing to do with him being an orc and all!

Thanks for the heads up and the help though, but there's something else going on with this warpaint. It ain't the SKSE tweak missing...

Wait- I think I know what's going on here! If that's a vanilla warpaint (Forsworn?) then it would end up overblown by that same SKSE fix designed for higher resolutions. The solution would be to replace the paint in question with a higher res version, which I'm sure exists out there in some form or another.

I think you may be right in this! I checked the warpaint and it's indeed one of the Vanilla versions - Forsworn02 to be exact - and it seems it can't manage HD quality. Funny thing though is the other Vanilla warpaints can, because I do use a higher resolution retexture since a while back. Either this particular warpaint was "left out" or something else is bugging it. I've tried rearrange the texture mod order a bit in case there's a conflict of sorts, but like I said, any other Vanilla warpaint looks good in high resolution. I created the character almost two years ago and haven't really played him since either - except for this nightwalk - so I could just slap some other paint on him too.

Thank you kindly for the helping hand, DV! Much appreciated!

I'd say he doesn't look like any kind of knight at all...

This is just a showcase set of the armor and I tend to pick any kind of character. This fellow is normally a tracker and a scout in my regular gameplay..

      Thank you!

Nights can be just as lovely as the daytime hours, especially with an ENB that manage to bring out full colours even in the dark. Andragorns weapons are also among my favorites - there's a certain elegance to them that I very much admire.

I'll make sure my orc guy here will hear someone thinks he's sexy! It's going to please him as well as making him very confused!

Thanks a lot, Izzy! Since I play with sleep and eat mods, I don't get to walk around during nighttime very often, so this was a welcomed change. Skyrim looks just as beautiful in the dark as it does in daylight. I'm not playing with the immersive roleplaying mods activated while on my armor Catwalk, so this lets me enjoy any hour of the day...
