Decided I would start playing with Nif Shader nodes... I could not for the life of me figure out how to place a both a BSEffectShader and a BSLightingShader on the same mesh without it crashing so instead, I duplicated the TriShape for the body and added only the necessary properties to it (Yeah, it doubled the mesh size)... The results are definitely what I wanted though, a glowing tattoo-like shader overtop of the original texture. The alpha texture I used was just the original texture set to greyscale and adjusted the levels so the brightest areas of the texture would end up as the alpha channel, which would take on the Emissive color.
